My Review of Burns Motors:
they sold me a bad car. within a week my car was in the shop, they tore out my car alarm, which was working when i took it for repair for the struts, they left a wrench inside my moter, which damaged my belts & motor. They changed out the struts & brakes to my car more than 5 times in 3 yrs, due to a rattling noise that was coming from the base of the car, & they still didnt find out what that noise was. they kept my car in the shop for 7 full entire days, w/out even touching the car, while im in a rental paying some deductible, for a waste of time. their service was horrable. they avoided me every time i called & complained. every time i took it for repair on some item that had warranty, they ended up messing something else as well, till this day my alarm wont work, which they didnt even fix. my lighter, was replaced 3 times (so they say) it doenst work, i dont even use it. When i would walk in the service dept. they looked like a bunch of ants, scattering all over the place, why, because they new who i was, due to the calling every day & taking my practically every day. i would yell and complain, they thought that since i was a girl, that i didnt know anything about cars, but i showed them a thing or 2. i wrote a letter to the owner of Burns Motors, but ofcourse he never responded. Typical. I found 1 day that my thermostat was missing, i check my car 2 or 3 X's a month on small things. well it was gone, i went back & they said it was never there, which i know it was, because i installed it. They commented to each other & made fun of me, that i was probably lying & didnt know a thing about cars, So i got up, went to the trunk of my car, pulled out my snap on tool and showed them where & removed the part as to where the thermostat is/was suppose to lay, it upset me soooo much. i even went to the extreme to show them how to change a tire. change the oil, rotate & balance a tire. they were amazed. they couldnt believe their eyes. that a girl (as they called me nicely)actually knew what she was doing. they had terrible service & probably still do. i would not go back there for any thing in this whole world. Their service dept & top management dept & especially the OWNER, should give their customers a lot more respect. Especially if it is a girl..... & be curteous enough to respond to demanding letters from his customers.
