My Review of Butterfield Ford:
I had always owned a Ford that is until I purchased a new one from butterfield ford.
We were lucky enough to get a car that had a chronic problem with the accelerator having a mind of its own, It would accelerate when you took your foot off the accelerator. Butterfield had documented the problem yet could not fix it. We felt very unsafe in the car and asked them to take it back under the lemon law and they refused. We contacted Ford motor co. And they told us that we would have to work it out with the dealer. We ended up trading it in for fear of having an accident with our children in the out of control car. We figured that our only recourse for our poor treatment from butterfield and ford motor co. was to NEVER buy a ford product again. I have bought several new non-ford cars since and been happy with the treatment from all other dealers and manufactures. My children are now of driving age and have adopted the same “no ford” policy. I can only hope that this will help somebody else from being treated the same way by butterfield and ford motor co. I would suggest buying a Dodge or Chevrolet

My Review of Butterfield Ford:
This dealership did a clutch and transmission rebuild a year ago and only 8,000 miles ago. the clutch failed because they did not replace the flywheel. They claimed the transmission needed to be rebuilt again and now the truck is sidelined because the dealership screwed the transmission up. They said they would do nothing further.

In 42 years of driving I have never experienced a worse dealer!!!!!!

My Review of Butterfield Ford:
Took my 2003 F-350 Diesel into service dept for warranty reapir. Truck had minor oil leak after only 21,000 miles. They said that that oil was traveling up, yes, up my cold air return pipe because I had a dirty air filter. Huh? At first I thought the backpressure might be enough, but anyone with a logical mind has to realize that the laws of physics still apply to Ford motor oil. What a joke. I finally gave up and took the truck to Willey Ford and they replaced the high pressure oil pump and guess what.......no more oil leak! It's a miracle! Butterfield is special, in a short bus kind of way. Do not go there!
