My Review of Coastal Carolina:
I visited Coastal Carolina Honda to look for a new vehicle for my business. I was met in the parking lot by Kenny (Sales Representative). Kenny was very helpful and actually had me interested in buying a car. We test drove a vehicle and went in to do paperwork. That was the end of the good experience at that dealership. I do not like the go back and forth dealing when buying a car so I told Kenny that I wanted the best deal right up front and that I would decide if it was acceptable or not. I waited for the test drive of my vehicle and the paperwork to come back from the sales manager. When I looked at it....it was totally unacceptable so I told Kenny that I would continue looking around but I could not do that offer. Of course, then the well what can we do started and I am not into that so I just went to pick up my keys and the what was wrong...duh....happened again at the sales manager's desk (where they hold your keys to your vehicle) continued. I left and decided to go to my bank and get pre-approval for a loan since I was not really considering buying a vehicle. I called Kenny back and told him about the pre approval and asked him if he would like one more shot at selling me a car. Of course he was eager to do so and I headed back to Coastal Carolina Honda. Upon arrival when I got out of my vehicle, another salesman (not Kenny) said "I see you're back with that piece of junk"!!!!! I was stunned....I asked him What did you say? and he replied...What did you think I said? I told him that he had better not say anything else or I was leaving right then and there. I went inside and waved at Kenny. I sat down and almost immediately the sales manager came to me and sat down and pushed the very same proposal that I had rejected earlier and asked "Just what were you expecting to get for your truck?" I said that evidently the best offer had already been made and I started to leave. The sales manager got up huffily and walked off. I left, went to Parker Honda in Morehead City and got what I considered a very fair offer, accepted, and now own a nice brand new Honda. I will never step foot at Coastal Carolina Honda again.

Of course, if you like being insulted and paying thousands more for a vehicle...go right on ahead and visit Coastal Carolina Honda.
