My Review of Capistrano Ford:
Dealer voided warranty on my 14,000 mile 99 Cobra a few years ago. The driveline catastrophically failed after they replaced the transmission a week prior. Accused me of abusing vehicle and went so far to get my vehicle blacklisted in the Ford warranty system. Other dealers disagreed with their claims that I abused the car, but it was too late as they had already blacklisted me in the warranty system. I fought Ford for a while on it, but finally gave up, built a new engine, bought a new 6 speed, and repaired the car myself for significantly less than their $12,000 service "estimate". Basically, not only did they skate out of coughing up the cost of the repairs from their ineptitude, they tried to rip me off with the repair estimate - which I laughed at.<br><br>Basically Capistrano Ford is a fraud, their service department lacked the ability to hold a technical conversation with me regarding this issue, made false claims, and insisted their "experts" knew what they were talking about - little did they know about my experience in the mustang arena, and that I have the tech to back up my claim that they were responsible for the damages.<br><br>Take your vehicle elsewhere for service and save yourself a headache and hole in the wallet. Or better yet, don't buy a Ford.
