My Review of Capitol Auto:
We came in to buy a car, we have decent credit, not perfect in the past but good for the past 5 years, and a very good income. We made an offer, we were told the banks were closed but they would let us know in the morning. After having to call several times to find out what was going on. No one would call us or answer the phone. Finally got through and they said they couldnt find any bank that would loan to us. Im guessing the used car was way over priced and they just didnt think it was worth their time to even try to get us financed. I really am thinking they never even submitted our application to any lenders. This is because we called our bank and applied online to several places and instantly we were approved for the same amount from at least 10 banks with no problems. Really it was a blessing because we now have a loan to buy a car from a private party for much much less!Like 1/2 the cost!!! This was the strangest experience Ive had with a dealership. Something shady was going on here, still not sure what, but beware the guys in the finance department are rude, and treated us like dirt. Usually we get the royal treatment from dealers, but not here! Makes you wonder what was really going on????? No wonder auto sales are so low, and at risk for going out of business! What a bunch of LAZY guys.

high pressure sales, bait and switch tactics tried to sneak in extended warranty sale, overall experience was a nightmare
