My Review of Car Vision:
This place is all smoke and mirriors. They try to make themselves sound like Car Sense. They are initially freindly, but they soon become pushy. The first night I went there, they tried to give me an 11% interest rate on a BMW that had been in 2 different accidents. I told them I needed time to think about (read shop around) I went back 2 days later with my parents to look at a newer Volvo s40. The car had one owner and was part of GE fleet services. I know so because they left all the previous owners information in the glovebox (think about identity theft). I felt more confindent that the Volvo was a "good" car rather than the BMW I looked at.

I mentioned that I took my parents the second trip, because I didn't think an 11% interest rate was acceptable, and I didn't want them to think they could try anything funny on a 24 year old with a little bit of money. The second time they came back with 9% and my dad told them they were out of their mind. So they came gack with 8% then 6%. Each time they ran my numbers, they hurt my credit score. I told them that 6% was still unacceptable, and that I would contact my personal bank. They told me that it was a mistake to do that. My sales person James, was very unperfessional, every sentance was accompanied by "dude".

Anyway back to my bank, they came back with a 5.4% interst rate on the car, and told me it would have been lower if car vision hadn't ran my numbers like 8 times. Then they hit me with a warranty from Continental Warranty Inc. for $2200, they gave me 10 year/100000 miles which pretty much covered everything. Turns out... 4 months later the warranty company is extremely difficult to get in touch with, and everything I read about them online is bad. Now I have to go into my own pocket plus the $2200 to get volvo brakes. This is the reason I bought the warranty. Now I've learned that if it sounds to good to be true....it is! Then the warranty comapny sold my information to other warranty companies and now i get calls all day at work regarding warranty sales pitches.

I called them to dicuss this, and nobody would talk to me or call me back.

Do yourself a favor, Stay away from Car Vision.

My Review of Car Vision:
Yesterday I purchased a 2005 Toyota at an excellent price--I did my research before going to Car Vision and knew what my target price was....Car Vision was actually lower than my target price by $600 ! My experience overall was outstanding: finance manager Wesley Young arranged for competitive financing at a local credit union for me and salesman David Cha was genuine, honest and completely knowledgeable about his products--it was an absolute pleasure to do business with Car Vision. David even went so far as to pick me up from the local train station when I arrived and double check the tire pressures before I drove off the lot in the afternoon--I am a completely satisfied customer.

I read all the other reviews and while it did scare me a little, I knew going into it my job was to be the most educated consumer possible--that means I checked all 3 credit reports before I showed up, and had researched the two possible car models I wanted--I did my homework and ultimately there were no surprises. I'm sorry some of those other folks didn't have the outstanding experience I did--well, I guess when you sell hundreds of cars a month, there's bound to be a few dogs. Thanks to Wes and David--see you in a few years for the next one!

My Review of Car Vision:
This place absolutely sucks. They say they have cars that they don't and it is the old bait and switch. Ask them to see around back where the garage is and get a load of the "technicians". If you buy from here you will be greatly disappointed

My Review of Car Vision:
I was sold a car valued at $22,000 for approximately $24,000. At the time of purchase they gave me a carfax "proving" that the car had a clean title. Funny because just 2 years later im attempting to trade into a different vehicle and when they pulled the carfax I find out that it had frame damage in 2004 (2 years before i ever bought the car). I will never EVER shop from this dealership again.

My Review of Car Vision:
I recently bought a Jetta there. I bought it with a "we owe" because the mirror was broken. After two full day trips and alot of yelling, they "fixed" it. They used a completely different mirror that does not even match. I will never go back there again. The owner was rude and absolutely ridiculous and service did not have a clue what was going on! They wanted us to pay to fix their mistakes. I would not recommend Carvision to anyone. The only part of he deal that was okay was the sales woman, Michelle. take warning and stay away!

My Review of Car Vision:
I purchased my 98 Honda Civic Hatchback on Saturday, March 9, 2008. I started driving it home and all of a sudden, it wouldn't shift into gear when stopping at red lights. Took it back to the dealership (All the while, being an hour late for work - AFTER being at the dealership for 4 hours)

Got it back that night when I got done work - they told me they put the wrong transmission fluid in it and that it was fixed.

Sunday morning (the 10th), I went to use my car and couldn't unlock it - from the inside OR outside. I had to climb in through the back to get into the car and couldn't unlock it from the inside either. I had to climb out of my passenger side window to get out of the car. I took it back to the dealership on Monday the 11th (since they are closed on Sundays)... they had it all day and fixed the driver's side lock - which I never got a straight answer why it wouldn't unlock. Never fixed the passenger side door, they apologized, and told me to come back another day and they'd fix it.

Had the car Tues, Wed, and Thurs. Friday.. I was on my way to work and stopped at a stopsign.. the car wasn't shifting. This time, I couldn't get it to go into drive AT ALL. Carvision's service department had to come tow the car away. Was late to work an hour and a half this day due to having to wait for the tow truck guy to get there (which took almost 2 hours!) Called them at 6:45pm after not being able to get a hold of anyone all day and was told they'd need to put in a new transmission. Finally got the car back Tuesday the 19th. Had a rental car from Saturday to Tuesday.

When I got the car back, it still wasn't shifting correctly. Hesitating when stopping and then going again. Overshifting. (the car is automatic!) - Called the dealership and said I just wanted to return the car and get my money back - that I didn't feel safe in this car and couldn't rely on it. Was told my only options were to A: keep the car and theyll make necessary fixes when needed... B: take it back and they'll give me a different car... C: return it, break the contract, and not receive the $1000 I put down on the car... BS!!! I've had the car a total of what... 5 days out of all that time???

To top it off... it took 5 tries to get it to start this morning!!!!

DO NOT GO HERE --- I AM TELLING ANYONE AND EVERYONE TO AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS!

My Review of Car Vision:
TERRIBLE DEALER STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with the majority of the comments. MY 2005 CAR HAD FLOOD DAMAGE and the so called 118 point check carvision provides is bull. The padding under the rug was still soaked from a leak and there is rust all underneath the seats from standing water. Not to mention the half assed paint job they did trying to cover up the accident it had been in. I noticed this 12 hours after driving the car away and attempted to take it back. The rude little sales manager tried to tell me it wasn't a problem but I don't want the car and they refuse to take it back. They don't hold themselves accountable for the warranty or the 118 point check which shows no leaks. Lawyers now involved.

Here is an email I sent them.

Car Vision of dealership knowingly sold a car to me with flood/water damage without disclosing it with me nor with the DMV prior to sale. The loan is for a 2005 Ford Mustang with 24k miles VIN number 1ZVFT80N855201616.

The morning of the 23rd I removed the supplied paper mats on the floor of the vehicle and noticed a significant amount of rust under the drivers side car seat indicating flood damage. (pics enclosed) I also noticed a small hole the size of quarter intentionally cut into the floor carpet under the paper mat. I then reached in with one finger and was greeted with water soaked padding indicating a constant leak since it hadn't rained in days. I ran a Carfax report and found the vehicle had been in an accident in June 2005 and then sold from auction to auction. I then immediately called Carvision and informed them I would be returning the car the following day.

I have a statement from their so called 118 point check that has "water leaks" checked. This document is signed by Tiro indicating no leaks were discovered even though it was obviously there for a long period of time. It also obviously had high level of standing water in the car for an undisclosed amount of time according to how high rust is visible under the front seat but still is labeled as “good” condition and passes the dealerships 118 point check which includes leaks and water damage. It would take months in order for the amount of rust to form that the photos attached will indicate.

Knowing that the flood damage and rust will eat the floor of the car away for the rest of it's life and that hidden problems will ultimately arise out of this I no longer wished to purchase the vehicle. There is also rust and corrosion on the engine indicating the engine was exposed to the elements of weather for an undisclosed amount of time. I returned the car and surrendered the keys back to the Car Vision dealership on October the 24th at 7:45 pm and do not intend keeping the vehicle or paying on any loan applied through this dealership on my behalf. I remove any permission for Car Vision or DTC Corp to apply for loans on my behalf effective immediately. Car Vision knowingly sold this automobile to me without disclosing the accident and flood damage that now decreases the value of this car tremendously.

I can not afford to pay for a car that will be a lemon for the rest of it's life nor do I feel comfortable selling a car in this poor of shape. Car Vision knowingly sold this defective car to me at a MSRP in “good condition” and as a result DTC Corp/Car Vision will be reported even further than the BBB, attorney general, and who have all all received claims if this matter is not rectified immediately. Car Vision is now in possession of this vehicle and will be responsible for canceling the loan, sale, and registration cost’s on this vehicle. I need written confirmation that this is being done to prevent any further action and personal distress. In order not to accrue additional costs for transporting my two children and personal distress in this matter I need to receive written confirmation that the appropriate actions are being made by EOD today, October 25th 2007. Thank you for your cooperation.
