Gave one star because they wouldn’t let me give zero. 3 months after buying the vehicle along with the extended warranty carfive sold us there was a cracked head. No problem… things break. Rather than repair the head or put a new head on it they decided to put a new used engine in because it’s easier, more cost effective for them, and less labor intensive for them. They gave us no choice and took the engine out of the car in the pictures attached. We were given zero information about the vehicle the engine came out of until we demanded the VIN. 2 days later there was a puddle of gasoline under the car engine leaving my son stranded on the side of the road again. Fortunately the vehicle didn’t explode. Back to the shop. Carfive refuses to work on the vehicle anymore. 3 weeks later the transmission is toast… probably caused by the wngine replacement and installation which the car never needed. After 3 weeks in the shop the warranty company sent the wrong transmission. So we’re looking at another 3 weeks before it’s fixed. Carfive refuses to take the car back… what does that tell you about the confidence they have in the work performed. We can’t sell the car because he still owes $23000 on it and by putting the mangled engine in it it is now valued at $12000. $11000 in negative equity in 6 months. My poor 18year old son is paying in excess of $800 for the car and insurance and it has literally spent more time in the shop and on the back of a tow truck than he has spent driving it. Cardive refused to honor their 1 year warranty, accept any responsibility for this happening, has refused to do anything to make it right other than to do us the favor of never touching the car again with their incompetent hands. If you’d like to be bent over and screwed as hard as you can be then you have my full recommendation of giving cardive your hard earned money. Bit of you would like a reliable vehicle and quality customer service and compassion and professionalism I suggest you run as fast as you can away from carfive. They are incompetent thieves. More

When I initially looked at the car, a 2004 Cadillac Deville, I had a small concern with the pass , thank you Pedro and everyone involved with CarFive. When I initially looked at the car, a 2004 Cadillac Deville, I had a small concern with the passenger heated seat not working - although this was not a deal breaker. I was by informed by Pedro that CarFive would try to source the part and fix it if at all possible. So at a very fair price, I purchased the car and was asked to give them a little time to find the part. Sure enough, they quickly got the parts and installed them at my convenience for FREE. I could not be happier with the Cadillac or the service I received. I would do business with them again and I can recommend then to anyone looking for a good used car at a fair price. More

My sons first car I have been searching for a used first car for my son for months. After browsing online and visiting a few dealers inventory, I was beyond frustrated. Older cars with tons of miles that costs almost double what he had saved. The dealerships were so aggressive almost rude pressuring us to buy a car he just couldn't afford. The reality was leading towards him not getting his own car for awhile. And that scared me because I knew since he had his license now he would want to drive my car! When I was just about ready to put the car search on hold, I found a car online from Car Five, a small used car lot right down the street from me I never noticed before. When I pulled into their lot I realized very quickly this place was different, they seemed to have many decent cars all at low prices. Very competitive inventory and most priced UNDER $5,000! I was also shocked I was able to look at the inventory without getting attacked by a car salesman. No pressure, just browsing! I brought my son back to test drive a few cars which we were allowed to do on our own. Everyone was so friendly and nice and Pedro was exceptional! He was the one who helped us find the right car. It had all the safety features I wanted and the body style my son liked and felt very comfortable driving. Perfect first car, great price, high miles but so were the ones at other places for thousands more. The cars here are good makes and models that I expect will get him through the next few years just fine. Only one negative issue I would like to address . Since we bought this car about a week ago I hardly ever see my son anymore. He has found his freedom and is always driving away somewhere. Other than that, we had an awesome experience with CAR FIVE! Car passed inspection fine other than needing new front wiper blades. Pedro, you were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Thank you for everything and thank you to Car Five for making it possible for a teen or anyone to find a good car at a great price!! More

I returned a couple times, once for a bit of detailing that had been missed and the other time for a coolant leak almost a month later. This last time they double checked for the leak everything was fixed just over 2 hours later. They were always considerate, I definitely recommend checking them out :) More
