Sold me almost a 50,000 truck. Started seeing ALOT OF SMALL SCRATCHES WHILE THERE.. I didnt see them due to the bright sun outside. As i was about to leave in it. Working with this dealership was a nightmare, and I don't feel confident recommending that I purchase another vehicle from them. I had purchased a car previously from another CarMax location several years ag feel confident recommending that I purchase another vehicle from them. I had purchased a car previously from another CarMax location several years ago and had such a great experience that I wanted to give them another try. It started out rough, had a mild very positive encounter and ended rough. They were disorganized and the majority of the associates were inconsiderate or not knowledgeable. Many of the vehicles we looked at had a dead battery. One of them had the door jam moulding coming off. Another had the previous owners dirty tissues tucked away in a backseat cup holder. Once we purchased the vehicle, the battery died in the first week leaving me stranded. I finally got it cranked to take it to an auto parts store where I was told the battery was no good which should have been caught in the "final check" that they do. There was acid caked on the terminals. Took the vehicle back to get a new battery where I was told they had no one onsite to do that, it would be a few days before they could get to it and that it wasn't their fault. Finally they reimbursed me for the new battery I had to buy out of pocket. During the process the sales rep we worked with wasn't consistent. The last one was on point, compassionate and followed up. She and the sales manager went our of their way to make this process better and should be recognized for their ability to remain calm, work together and overcome obstacles. More
