My Review of Carl Burger Dodge/Chrysler Jeep:
Absolutely amazingly horrible customer service. I made an appointment to have my Dodge Viper looked at (the check engine light had come on), and showed up at 7:10 am. Their service drive is kind of short, and the ends of the three cars in line when I got there stuck out into the street. Deciding that I did not want to double park my car in the middle of the street, I pulled up about 30 yards and parked on the curb alongside the building. I then waited my turn outside the service office. When the service writer Chris approached me, after pointing out my Viper to him, he told me that I had to "get in line" in order to be serviced. I responded that I had all of my paperwork in a file in my hand, and he could write me up right there, as I did not want to double park my car in the middle of the street. He REFUSED, and said that if I did not put my car in the line, he would not help me. I then stuck my head in the service office, and asked what kind of BS it was that I should have to park a new Viper in the middle of the street in order to get helped. I told them that I had made an appointment the prior evening, and was simply told that " a lot of people have called in ahead."<br><br>I then left the dealership, and went to another dealership, John Hine Dodge in San Diego, where I was taken care of. I called Carl Burger to complain to the general manager, who told me that I would receive a call back.<br><br>The call back came from a lady who, upon hearing me tell the story AGAIN, asked me what I wanted her to do for me. I told her that since the car was at another dealership being worked on, I did not know what she could do. I also told her that Carl Berger Dodge had just had an opportunity to earn my business (since I had never been there before), and had failed miserably. She simply said "thank you for the call," and hung up! Way to follow through on a dissapointed customer!<br><br>Never again will I go to that place, and I intend to go further up the chain of command with this complaint and challenge their "five star service" rating. What a crock!
