CarMax has screwed me on my deal stating I had NO credit, when I know my credit was 724 @ time of purchase. Due to this HUGE mistake I was placed with the WORST PREDATORY LENDER:EXETER FINANCE who has my int when I know my credit was 724 @ time of purchase. Due to this HUGE mistake I was placed with the WORST PREDATORY LENDER:EXETER FINANCE who has my interest rate at 25.55%. Exeter gives kickbacks to CarMax by baking in certain “fees” into the deal and the customer NEVER knows. I have tried for a year to refi my loan down to a normal interest but my LTV ratio is so upside down due to the initial screw up/LIE saying I had NO credit! I want my deal refinanced thru your CarMax funding source and I will feel like CarMax is actually not the biggest pile-o-crap ever! I have so many documents of proof showing the erroneous fees charged without my knowledge which has me owing $15000 on a 2016 Scion that is worth $7/8000 tops!! Google Exeter and you will see the horrors people are dealing with in regards to illegal interest rates. HEY STEVE PATTON GIVE ME A CALL. Get my number off my file! More

My wife had a very positive experience with Carmax, selling her car rather than trading it in. We got an offer before going in, which was at the upper end of online selling/trading estimates from sever selling her car rather than trading it in. To our pleasant surprise, they actually offered more when we brought the car in. The offer was several thousand more than she probably would have gotten on a trade. We had an amazing experience, the car was exactly how it was described and in near perfect condition.
