My Review of Carson Toyota:
I went into Carson Toyota looking for a specific option package and specific color on a new car. They did have cars of my package, and one in my color, but not both. Naturally they tried to make a deal with me, which I didn't mind. But when I finally said I'd rather wait and see if I can find exactly the car I want, they wouldn't hear it. They played every card in the book trying to cajole me into buying a color I didn't want, or a touring package that was $3500 over what I wanted to pay. If I'm going to pay 20,000 for something that I'll have for a decade or two, I want it exactly the way I like. These guys couldn't respect that and I finally had to just walk out. If you want to be pushed into buying something you'll regret, this is the place for you.

One thing I must admit, Carson Toyota is a great place to test drive. It's in a light-industrial area with little traffic and sparse stoplights, so you can really crank out the vehicle and learn what it can do. It's also near a freeway so you can get a feel for it at speed. I recommend test-driving at Carson Toyota and buying at Manhattan Beach Toyota.

got a "Certified Pre-Owned" car from them 4 years back. process took a while & finally found a decent corolla. everything went well in sales process, but when came to delivery, they only have one key & unwilling to make another copy.

call toyota corporate & went thru many calls, they finally agree to two more keys, which took another month to be mail.

also found funny noise coming from car, after driving it home. took it back a week later & they said the hubcap is to blame, they oiled it & noise went away for a while. later found out the wheel well cover is gone, which t i had to take another workday off to get it fix. this supposely restored to factory condition. i finally ask for the worked they've done, since they got this car into the dealership, all they did was a oil change.

recently, I found out the noise was coming from the timing belt, which was about to break.

talking about CPO vehicle, what a rip off. dont; buy from this dealership, never going back to this dealership.

My Review of Carson Toyota:
We had bought two cars from Carson in 2003. Highly recommended by friends, and we were very satisfied too.

Well tried to buy another car from them recently. This is NOT the same place they use to be. They lied about the price, tried to bait and switch, and have to be one of the most dishonest car dealers I've ever dealt with. Complained to the manager, he admitted that they were wrong, but still unwilling to do anything. Avoid them at all costs.

We had bought the cars through Dianne Whitmire, who was the Internet manager at the time. She's now at Manhattan Beach Toyota. Decided not to buy the car from her (yet), but I would go to her long before ever going back to Carson!!!

Visited this joke of a dealership 2 years ago, before purchasing with Penske. Tried to push a car with option I didn't want at $3K higher than usual- forget that! Walked out on them!

My Review of Carson Toyota:
Recently picked up a 2003 MR-2 from them. couldn't have been easier. Good price on the car and good price on the TRD Sportivo kit I wanted added on at delivery. I just wish they were closer to me so I could take it to them for service, but I need to find someone closer.
