My Review of Centennial Imports:
I bought a used 2001 Volvo S40 with less than 50,000 miles, less than a year after purchasing the car my car repeatedly shut down in the middle of driving. On one occasion I was driving up a hill when the vehicle shut off and started to roll backwards. I immediately took it into the dealership to get serviced. They hooked up the computer diagnostics, which said that there was not a problem so they sent me away saying they could do nothing. It repeatedly continued stalling to the point my step father called in and told them they had to find the problem. They kept the car for three weeks, said they could duplicate the problem but could not find the cause of the problem then told me if I wanted them to keep looking it would cost me $100 an hour. They said they would have the regional Volvo tech look at it, they have not and no one has called me in 2 weeks. The used vehicle section of the dealership is supposed to resolve the problem by buying the car back. We paid 13,000 in 2005 now they want to pay me 5,600. These people are rude and incompetent. I well be contacting corporate.
