My Review Of Charles Maund Volkswagen:

Very very disappoint with VW at Austin!!! I can't believe that how their service works terrible They are The king of scratch-making! We have fixed a part of real glass under my warranty. It was ok, yet- they made small or dig scratches around the part that they fixed. We just found them and complained it. They,first time, tried to rub with the compound formula to remove all of tiny scratches. But still we could see deep and some scratches remained on the surface. We could not be satisfied !of course! We kept complaining they admitted that it was their fault . So they told me that bring our car again and they would fix that. So we visited next day, however, they took our car the body shop and rubbed harsh more wi the same compound product something. Because we could see and feel obviously the painting got lost in depth, we could not stop this complaint. They suggested that they would paint next time on the part that they couldn't handle it now. But we have to rent a car during 2-3days . I don't have other vehicle and I don't think this is not charged of mine. I can't accept their deal(?). I spoke up aloud I can't trust here VW service, we saw not only my car, there are many cars got scratches after the service, and my car was getting worse after VW touched it. So I want to fix it at other body shop but they said no! And i said I can't pay for renting a car but they said NO! Last, I said then if you paint on the part and if color is different from other body, it's all your responsibility, but they said NO! We gave up the conversation because they never accept any our complaint. It Sucks! I don't want to pay for renting because of all their fault!! We bought the car at the Mercedes Benz store in Austin originally and we went there to request for fixing the inside the door trimming (because VW said they only care inside the car warranty in 1year :/ ) but Benz said, they heard that about the scratches from VW , they were trying to avoid to fix our car. They said they are afraid of getting any possible problem after the service as like VW!!! We bought it from Benz store and it happened in 2weeks. No one wants to be responsible for my car! Benz told me that any time we can ask VW to fix the car under the warranty when they were selling the car! Now look at them both companies! I want to spread this happening to all don't trust and don't waste your money and time at VW here!

Had a great experience .... although expecting the worse the staff at Charles Maund was great and very helpful. The new Jetta I bought is awesome what a fun car to drive. Great place to buy a new car!!!

My Review Of Charles Maund Volkswagen:

They lost our trade-in paperwork. Never paid
Off our trade-in but sold it without a proper title.
It took so many phone calls it get it cleared up.
Lied about sending payoff check. Said it was hand
Delivered but sent it in mail! They had to drive about
1 mile to deliver to bank. Could even get a phone call
From the general manager. Just ignored us.
I like my jetta and liked salesman. Buyer beware.
I really would like to think its isolated incident but ....

We went in to just look at the Jetta as I had not made up my mind as to what I wanted yet. I have been shopping for vehicles for over a year and this was such a pleasant experience, and the Jetta had everything we where looking for that we went ahead and bought it. I am thrilled with the experience and thrilled with the car. This being my first volkswagon and my first new car.

My Review Of Charles Maund Volkswagen:

Waited 45 mins for help and we were finally assisted by Todd Patton. He must have reached his quota for the month because he was not helpful. He treated us like children and figured us to be young and ignorant. He had done our homework and surprised him with a few questions. The price was not negotiable so we left the dealership and traveled north to Hewlett VW. We were in and out of their dealership in 1.5 hrs, keys in hand. Payments were $98 cheaper per month and the model was an upgrade from the Charles Maund vehicle we were looking at...shop around. Charles Maund will never get our business again.

I went into the VW dealership to check out the Motor Trend car of the year 2012 Passat, as one of several car brands that I was interested in buying. Due to the professional and courteous salesmanship of Jack Price, my sales representative, I left convinced that the 2012 Passat 3.6L V6 SEL that he demonstrated to me was the car I wanted. I came back the next day and through hassle free and expeditious action, on the part of dealership personnel, managed to drive off with my new car. I highly recommend not only this particular model of Volkswagen, but also the Charles Maund VW dealership.

I had been looking for the perfect used vehicle for several months and found the car I was looking for on cars.com. The website led me to Maund Imports, part of the Maund VW pre-owned lot. I had confirmed the vehicle was still there by phone and was greeted by salesman, Dallas, upon arrival. He was knowledgeable about the car and looked up answers to questions I had. He was overly knowledgeable and let me make my own decision without salesman speech or pressure to "seal the deal today". Financing was easy on site and gave me about 1.5% lower financing than my credit union that I had used in the past for previous vehicles. Last vehicle I purchased at another site, took me 3-4 hours of playing the sales game and gimmick supplemental options. Maund Imports made the transaction straight-forward, easy and quick. I also got great resale value for my 97 Honda Civic. Thanks Maund VW for my new Camry Hybrid!!

My Review Of Charles Maund Volkswagen:

I went in to just talk about a new car and met with Joseph who started walking through what they had and what they cost. We walked out to the lot so I could see the 2012 VW GTI that I was interested in and was shooting the breeze about other similar turbocharged 4 bangers in the same class. He told me how the GTI would be better then gave me the keys and we went on a test ride. I loved the car and he solidified my decision with getting a new GTI. We went back to the office and took a look at a few different options and the costs associated with them. Shortly thereafter, I'm calling my insurance to see what owning this car would cost me there, and he's pulling up paperwork and speaking with Marshall to see what they could give me for my old car which they gave me a little more than I actually expected. They told me they would have to order the car in because the specific version I wanted wasn't in stock but they told me they would have it the next day. I came in the following day to pick it up, paid the down payment and signed the paperwork and I couldn't have been happier with my new 2012 VW GTI.

My Review Of Charles Maund Volkswagen:

That was a very pleasant experience in car buying. While I went with the TDI Passat in mind the choices were made easy and clear by Gordon.Even the color --which in the ads was flaky! He showed me what we could expect--and I was pleased.
We were always treated well and with a smile.At no time was any deal forced on us --even subtly . In my mind I thought these guys were the most un-car-salesmen type and told them so! While the wait for the car became a bit stressful and no definite time was forthcoming , both Ken & Gordon put me at ease and even gave me a (probable) cockamamie story about the delay! :-).

Nevertheless they were very prompt at replies and immediately informed me when she arrived.After that the delivery was a breeze and I even got a better deal from VW finance (thanks Marshall) than my own bank.

If all the above reads like a promo ad --so be it! I am sincerely pleased with the treatment and with the Car!!

PS I saw the car in a TV ad first and then followed up on the net for details.
