My Review of Charles Maund:
I ordered a Scion tC in mid-march 2005, and was told that it would be 4-6 weeks for delivery. My sales guy called me twice in the first 4 weeks, both times to say that he didn't know when the order would be processed. I called him after 4 weeks, and he told me it should be &quot;any day now.&quot; 4 weeks after that (mid May) he still hadn't called me, so I searched online and found the exact model I wanted at another dealership in Texas. I called my sales guy and he had no clue that the other dealership had this car (I thought it was his job to know this?). In addition, he had no idea that at this point Scion had stopped production of 2005 tC's and started production of 2006's! In fact, the general manager of Charles Maund also had no clue about this! If I hadn't told them, who knows how much longer they would've kept my order on hold before they realized what was going on. So I cancelled my order with these guys immediately (at least they refunded my $500 deposit without a fuss) and took my business to another dealership.<br><br>These guys don't seem to care if they sell the car or not. My sales guy didn't keep up with the latest info on the car's production, nor did he keep me informed or show any interest in the status of my order. Seeing as how Scion has a no-haggle policy, the only thing that sets dealers apart is the customer service, which Charles Maund doesn't seem to realize.
