My Review of Chevrolet 73:
Wow after reading all of these horror stories i feel lucky not to have purchased a car there. I hd made 3 email inquiries and 3 phone calls to chevy 73. On the last phone call i was told I could get the car I was looking at for a certain price. A really good price that was way lower than the other quotes I had recieved from others at the same place. I was told he was the only one who could make this sort of deal.So the next day i drive all the way from Montgomery county PA (hr and a half),spend 4 hrs test driving and of course waiting,only to be told by same person that he cant do that price. So i of course find the person that he had been speaking with and tell him what his salesman had said and done. The man then replies " I dont care what he told you, you should have known better than to expect that price". When asked if he stood behind his sales force and there promises, he replied" NO. Especially when they do stupid things like this". Have you ever heard something so incredible. DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP. They are the classic used car salesmen. They will tell you anything.

My Review of Chevrolet 73:
problems from day 1, told we had side curtain airbags, didn't, told we had a larger engine, nope. inventory tag magically disappeared off the truck before we went for the test drive, was only spotted once in the finance office where it was quickly tucked into their envelope. And of course the "office" is always closed when asked for that or whether or not our trade in was paid off. Hmm, according to them the paper work says they have 20 work days to pay off the trade in, but what it says is within 24 hrs of taking the trade in they get a payoff on the vehicle which is good for a 20 minimum. Not a 20 workday minimum. Hard to get people on the phone or to return messages. Sales people are not "educated" on the vehicles they are selling. From what we were told, they get handed the brochure to "study" and thats how they learn about what they are selling. So here we are close, I mean days away from our next payment date on the traded in vehicle, and the thing still hasn't been paid off...ok, update 5mins ago, the check is cut(?) and will be mailed out tomorrow??? OMG...such aggravation, and when I mention that the payment was due tomorrow, he was like, oh well they won't bother you for like 2 weeks anyway...

My Review of Chevrolet 73:
bought 2008 HHR on 5/17/08 , left w/ car and was told i had financing for 9.15% -- on 5/30/08 they called to tell me i had to come in to sign new paperwork for a different bank at 13.33%-- as of 6/1/08 my trade has not been paid off i will not sign anything else without my attorney looking at it first -- i have no idea how much this is going to cost me but it will be alot --DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP -- DON'T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT CHECK WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE -- IF I HAD I WOULD NEVER HAVE GONE THERE

My Review of Chevrolet 73:
My husband purchased a 2007 chevy truck there on 4/26/08.
He traded in his other truck, was told he was approved, even given the payment dates. This evening about 7;00pm he gets a phone call telling him to come in and sign some paperwork. He gets there and he calls me and tells me they couldnt get him the loan they already had signed paperwork for, and wanted him to sign for a NEW LOAN for Alomost Double the amount,I told him no way, then he was told that if he left the lot with the truck that they would have him arrested.
I called the local police dept there they said as long as we have the paperwork proving he purchased the vehicle we are ok....
He is on his way home now, they told him to come back in the morning, so they can work out something, I told him to tell them to call when they figure out where to send the payments to that was origionally agreed upon.
Will keep you posted on this one..
I may need a attorny, im not having a good feeling about this one...

Not just another pushy dealership, chevy 73 is filled with a bunch of lowlife sales men to say the least. Unsurprisingly the finance manager is just as great.
I once saw a guy driving down 295 with "chevy 73 is a scam" sticker on the back window of his truck and now i know why. They will treat and talk to you like a moron and will try and get over on you any way the can.

My Review of Chevrolet 73:
I purchased a 2007 Cobalt on Nov. 2, 2007. To make a long story short, as of today, Dec. 12, 2007, my trade has not been paid off. I also just received my registration more that a month later. Now, I don't expect the dealer to pay off the car on day one, but I do expect them to pay it off in a timely manner. This dealership is really putting the axe to me by not doing what they are supposed to and I'm afraid that it will seriously hurt my credit.
I hope that if anyone is in the market for a new or used vehicle, please do not use this business. They have been sued in the past and just last April, 4 employees have been arreseted on charges of fraud and forgery. Do your homework, check out places before purchasing, it could save you alot of heartache and money in the long run

My Review of Chevrolet 73:
I purchased a 2007 Cobalt on Nov. 2, 2007. As of today, December 12, 2007, my trade has not been paid off. I have done business with this dealer in the past, so I figured it was a decent place, boy was I WRONG!!!
Had I known about the lawsuits and the arrests of the 4 employees for all the wrong that they were doing, I would not have gone to this business. It took 3 weeks to get my registration.
I hope that anyone that is ready to purchase a vehicle will not take a trip to Chevy 73. Do your math before going to any dealer, it will save you alot of heartaches and money.

My Review of Chevrolet 73:
After making a fair deal @0% interest and signing the papers I was called 7 days later yes 7 days to be told my loan didnt go through and they obtained a loan @9%, you know the old Bait and switch. I did take the deal. two and a half months later colectors from the bank whom I had my old loan through showed up at my house and informed me I was in default. In simple terms they did not pay off my old car loan as they promised. they will not return my messages -EVER- they hide from my calls litteraly. I have discovered there is a class action suit filed against them for these types of buisines practices, you can find this info on the New Jersey attorney general website. If you have been a victom of this dealership you can also contact GM customer complaint @ 866-790-5600-. Dont let them get away with this , My credit has been very damaged by thier "special treatment" lawyers next.

My Review of Chevrolet 73:
I was looking for a car to buy in February, after visiting this dealership they had an Audi A6 on their lot that looked great at a decent price. I was skeptical because the check engine light was on, the dealership assured me that it was due to low gas pressure in the tank and it was nothing to worry about. I was not comfortable and declined to buy the car. I was badgered by staff for two days to complete the deal after I decided not to go tbrough it. I got in writing that they would fix the problem and proceeded to buy the car. After my first oil change I began to hear a loud clicking sound in the engine I took the car to two separate mechanics including the Audi dealership who informed me that the motor was BAD! Rod barrings were chipping off and there were pieces of them in the oil pan. Two separate mechanics explained that this process takes time to happen and if I never heard the noise before then "someone" used a thicker oil type to quiet out the clicking so that I wouldn't know that something was wrong with the engine. This dealership has multiple complaints as well as civil suit filed against them by the state of NJ in November of 2006. Buy at your own risk. No integrity......

I purchased a new corvette from Chevrolet 73. After checking out all of the local delaers includiing the "Number 1" dealer in new jersey, I bought mine at Chevy 73. I understand your frustration but they only seem to have a few complaints? Were you past due when you traded your car??????
