My Review of Clairmont Cadillac Pontiac:
First Visit:
1993, me age 29. Interested in ordering a new Cadillac, 1993. Salesguy tells me that I would need a non-refundable $10,000 deposit to order it. (Fleetwood Sedan). I left.

Second Vist: (I am forgiving) = 2003. I enter showroom at 8:30 on way to work. I take from brochure rack a brochure on the Buick Park Avenue, another on the Cadillac deVille and one on the Pontiac Grand Prix & Bonneville and one on the Eldorado.
On the way out the door I run into a salesguy coming to work. He tells me that I cannot have ALL THOSE brochures and that I can have ONE, reaching out and taking them all from my arm. I left with none and bought a Lincoln.

HOWEVER, their parts department is excellent & will go 110% for you! I have bought parts there for a few cars that I bought to re-sell and the guys in parts are utter perfection. IF you need GM parts THAT is where to go! Avoid the showroom at all costs.

My Review of Clairmont Cadillac Pontiac:
Visit #1 (1992) To order a new Cadillac. Salesperson wanted a $10,000 Non-Refundable deposit from me, because I was ordering a very expensive (for 1992) Cadillac, and I was young, and had no credit, but was paying CASH !! But, I was paying cash, as I told him. Bought it in 1993, from another dealer, for cash, no problems. Gave a $500 deposit.

Visit#2 (1996) Looking to buy a 2nd car for wife. Stopped in at 8:35AM on way to work. Picked up 5 new car sales brochures. (Bonneville, Seville, de Ville, Grand Prix ). Upon leaving showroom meet another sales person, who promptly stated that "I couldn't have ALL THOSE brochures, and removed two (or three) of them from my hands.
(Bought a LINCOLN from another dealer, 3 weeks later)

Visit #3. Parts Department. Ordered an old part for a car I was restoring. Every other dealer told me it was no longer available. Clairmont Parts Mgr. said the same, but explained that sometimes if you go ahead & order it anyhow, it will arrive. So, he did that & 4 days later he called to say it was waiting for me. Parts Dept. is exceptional !

Visit #4. Back to Parts Department, to get an original replacement battery. In stock, and they offered to carry it out to my car for me. That was nice. I carried it, however. This in the Summer of 2004. This summer 2005, after only 4,000 miles, the battery is dead. Jump started & had battery checked. Battery has dead cell. Checked date on battery.....it was "in stock" for 3 years ! Screw the "iffy" warrantee, I bouight a new one, 'yup, at another dealer.

Visit #5. This one will not happen !
