My Review of Concours Motors, Inc.:
I purchased a $41,000.00 2005 E320 CDI as new with only 11570 miles. It was advertised and sold on E-BAY by Michael Scaffidi and Concours Motors. It was described as in the same condition as the day it was driven off the lot by the original owner. It was signed on the Wisconsin Buyers Guide by Michael Scaffidi and showed no for corrective welding or serious damage repair .It was advertised as a non smoker with a great interior.Always parked in the deep parking lots and has no door dings, and pampered to the point of always being garaged.I was given a carfax that showed it was a certified mercedes car certified by Mercedes Benz USA.It was supposed to be in new condition with absolutely no repairs or body work.I received a car with a scarred front wheel and tire,a deeply scraped front bumper and driver body moulding,a passenger body moulding with a 10 inch crack all of the way through. It had not only been a smoker and wreaked of smoke but had ashes in the interior door buttons and had cigarette burns in the interior. The best of the best.I took it to a certified Mercedes Dealer and Repair facility. They showed where the car had the complete driver side(yes I said complete)repaired and repainted. This Dealership and its staff has been completely dishonest about this car from the beginning.I found out where Concours Motors removed the Mercedes Benz USA certification in January 2006 and failed to notify CarFax .They were still representing it as certified by sending me the Carfax report in March 2006 that shows its certification. They removed the certification because it cant be certified if body work is done on it.I also cannot get an extended service warranty which they guaranteed I could.I even have the paperwork where they tried to sell me the warranty.Inernet and Interstate Fraud is a Big Deal and I have lots of evidence.I am interested in finding out how this will work out.I am in the process of filing Lawsuits against Concours Motors and their staff Karl Wuesthoff president ,Lee Wuesthoff treasurer,Dan Frey customer relations,Michael Scaffidi and Tom Kossow Sales, and James Goodwin in finance, maybe a few others in the service department and repair facility. Buyer Beware even the Old Big Dealerships are dishonest.I will update this as it progresses.
