Reason for Visit: Service

I recommend this dealer: No

My Review of Condit Toyota:
Took my truck in for service for overheating. While i was there, told them to change my timing belt, waterpump, do an allignment and rotate the tires. The head gaskets and allignment was the only service performed and i was charged for a rotation which i did not recieve. The truck kept loosing coolant after the gaskets were replaced and it took three visits untill the tires were roatated.

Now the truck is back after 6 visits and the work i being redone. And it had been three weeks that they have had my truck.

WARNING: Do not go here for service. Very unprofessional. Have no answers for your questions.

Reason for Visit: Sales

I recommend this dealer: Yes

My Review of Condit Toyota:
This is not a complete review, as I decided to buy a different make of car because I liked the other car better. Since I did not complete the purchase, I do not know if I would have been fully satisfied. I located this dealer through the COSTCO program, and they allowed me to take the 2007 Corolla I was interested in out for a test drive by myself. I did not encounter any pressure tactics. They offered me a good, but not great price, and the same amount for my trade that I eventually accepted at the other dealer.

My salesperson, Colleen, was a new part-timer, without much product knowledge, but was closely overseen by a manager, Joe. I have found that this is relatively common with Internet sales--the dealerships seem to use referrals from those programs to train newbies, as the sale is likely regardless of the salesperson's skill and the price is pre-established.

I was impressed though, that when I made a false assumption about the car that would have been in the dealership's favor, a manager (not Joe) who was at the next desk overheard me talking and immediately explained the correct situation. In fact, except for telling me that window etching was required, I did not detect any lies, which is most unusual when I shop for a car.
