My Review of Countywide Chrysler/Jeep:
after making appt. i arrived on time, Daniel was called to his desk by associated who said, your appontment is here. Daniel shouted back, you can take her. Assoc said, NO, i am busy, she is your customer you do it." Well that made me feel just great. It took another 20+ minutes to fill out my information in their computer and i asked for a time he would call w estimate as well as pick up time as i had commitments for later. He promised to call promptly at 230 w work estimate and pick up time. I called but got his voice mail at 309, called again at 320, got someone else who found him. He said he would call back in 10 minutes max w my informatin. He called at 348 with high estimate and pick up time of 530. I said , will it really be done at 530 bec i will not have time to wait and wait. he then said, I will bust my butt to have it ready for you at 530" very unprofessional! I arrived at 530, he asked if i had paid yer? and was shocked that i didnt know where to pay. finsihed paying, returned to his desk, no Daniel. I said loudly, so do i just find my car and leave now? associate said, he would find my keys, then i spotted them on top of Daniels desk. He was obviously finished w me. As I opened door to leave, Daniel walked around corner from break room and said to assoc. did you give her the keys? he replied, no she took them. My car was still parked where it had been when i arrived I had to back up three times to avoid hitting other cars parked blocking me in. I will NEVER return to this dealer ship or any of his other businesses. Horrible treatment. Wonder if my work was really done>>>

My Review of Countywide Chrysler/Jeep:
BEWARE!

E-mailed this dealership about Certified Pre-Owned Jeeps and was told by the "Internet Guy" (Jim, I believe) to "come on down" and "check out the inventory".

Called before coming and was told by receptionist that the "Internet guy", was out to lunch and would be back. Now I live in Ventura County but I was interested in one Silver Jeep Grand Cherokee. So I went down there and after wandering around the lot I went inside and asked a distinctly different receptionist (I always ask for names over the phone) for the gentleman I had exchanged e-mails with. Turns out it was his day off! Communication people!

I was told everyone else was busy so I left. Too bad as I was ready to buy.

If they had only taken the time--I'm a patient person.

P.S.
A total of "3" Pre-Owned Jeeps is not really "inventory" worth "Checking out" guys! Especially when they are priced WAY over Blue Book. A Toyota Prius this is not.

My Review of Countywide Chrysler/Jeep:
I was in the process of purchasing one of their used jeeps from them. This was on a friday. When i first arrived I told them I wanted to just have a look around because I had to be to work in 2.5 hours. I found a Jeep Grand Cherokee that I really liked and we agreed on a deal. (a lower price, which they canceled at the end). We began the paperwork for financing and had everything drawn up. I warned them several times that I was on a time constraint. They kept saying, "only a couple more minutes etc." Finally I couldn’t wait any longer and had to leave for work while they worked out the final financing papers. They agreed that i could come in the following day and finish the paperwork and drive off with the vehicle.

I called ahead the next day to make arrangements, and got a ride for myself. When we showed up they had sold the vehicle to another customer in the time it took me to drive down (1 hour).

As you can imagine I was very disappointed and they made no effort to apologize for their mistake, just telling me, "that’s how we do business." Had they not given me a verbal agreement to hold the car I would have called in to work and finished things up that day. (it REALLY isn't good practice to cancel on a client in my line of work)

Jim (a manager) later told me that I wasn't the type of customers they want and had no interest in helping after I didn't seem interested in the vehicle they wanted to upsell me. ($3000 more). Dennis was also incredible rude when I questioned his business ethics. Over all, very 2 faced.

To summarize I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to deal with Country Wide Chrysler.

Had they been honest with me and APOLOGIZED I probably would have done business with them on another vehicle.
