My Review of Crown Auto World:
Used high pressure sales tactics. Made conflicting & misleading statements. I stated up front, and repeatedly, that I was not interested in purchasing a vehicle that day. Despite that, the salesman tried to get me to sign a paper saying I would purchase a vehicle that day. When that failed, the sales manager repeatedly pushed me to commit to purchasing that day. They had nothing on the lot I was interested in, so they did an area search for me. They found 3 vehicles. They only showed me the results for one vehicle, from a "sister" dealership. I asked repeatedly to see information on the other two vehicles, but was told over and over that I wouldn't be interested in them; the vehicles weren't from one of their "sister" dealerships. Throughout the process, the salesman made many conflicting statements, including the old "You'd better buy it quick, there aren't many of these vehicles around", which changed to "There's no way we're going to transport this vehicle to our lot without a payment upfront, because it will sit for a year before it's sold", depending on where he happened to be in the negotiation process. I'm pretty positive they tried to sell me the same vehicle I had looked at at their "sister" dealership, however, pretended it was a different vehicle. Since they were so eager to screw their "sister" dealership over, I figured they would have no reservations about doing the same to me. I took my business elsewhere.
