My Review of Dana Lincoln-Mercury Ltd:
I purchased a loaded top of the line 08 MKX from Dana Lincoln Mercury on Staten Island. All I kept hearing from Joe (the sales manager) was that the dealership was ranked top whatever in the country for the number of sales it made. I really felt like the only thing that mattered was the volume the dealership was producing and not the quality of service it was providing. They proved that as I had several problems upon delivery. Just to name a couple, the automatic start did not work and there were several scratches on the truck. When I tried to have them rectified by Doug Hansen, this is some of what he said to me:

First off he was loud and obnoxious. Upon seeing it, he said oh well it’s only about ½ inch big and nothing compared to the wear and tear that would happen. No cars at any dealership including BMW, Mercedes or wherever have a perfect vehicle. He started yelling at me and said he is not going to do anything about it. If I wanted to have it painted he would do so or I should just leave the dealership. The deal is done so goodbye. He had work to do. He didn’t know what I did for a living that I had so much time on my hands to research incentives available and know about dealer cash available. No he did not give out free key rings or brochures and too bad about the scratch. I already drove the car off the lot and it lost about $6,000 in value already. He proceeded to walk away and said if I wanted his card, I could go ahead and complain to whoever the hell I wanted to.

THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE AT THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!

Dana Motor's price and selection was the best I have seen in all my years of dedicated Lincoln purchasing. The sales staff was immediately welcoming. They greeted me the moment I walked in, eager to help me in any way they could. They worked quickly and made it easy for me to make the purchase. The price was reasonable too. They worked with me to give me the best price they could so I could afford it. Overall, I am extremely happy with the decision I made when i decided to buy my car at Dana Motors.

my family has been dealing with dana motors for over 28 years i would send all my friends to dana .I have leased 6 cars from dana myself. i just picked up an navigator my salesman anthony was great my veh was ready when i got there he was so nice he explained everything to me about the veh i feel i get the best price from dana i do not have to hackle i trust them . my last veh needed repairs the service dept are so friendly and helpfull my loaner was ready when i droped it off the staff is great i never have a problem at dana my overall experience at dana is priceless again thanks dana see you soon

i had foud dana lincoln mercury to be the best place to buy a veh i have been dealing with the GM doug hansen for over 10 years he has been great, he makes my wife and i feel so relax i would never go any where else to buy a new car. mr hansen treats us like family if i have a service problem he walks us down to service and makes sure we are being taken care of the freindliness of all the staff at dana lincoln mercury is refreashing no matter what the problem is the staff is ready to answer all questions the price of doing bussiness is priceless at dana my hat goes off to the owner jim and his staff. i would reccommend dana to all my friends and family .we love our lincoln mkx and mercury milan no one can beat the price we recieved at dana i cannot forget dave diorio he washed my car and and made sure it was filled up he did a great job at delivery he would not let us leave untill we fully understood everything. the night we pick up the veh it was raining he had the car put inside the garage so we would not get wet thanks dave i cannot wait to get my next car from dana.

They are the worst to deal with, Had the ford pin # they charged me more than ford stated with the pin#. Which now is a legal issue and I got ford involved so they are going to audit them for double dipping and pocketing the money I should have saved. Was told there was sync in the car and there wasnt, had to order the mats and etch my windows 2 times. Doug Hansen who is the GM is VERY disrespectful and will not try to rectify the problem. I would not buy from them again. I should have known better with all he people complaining about them.

(Leased the 2008 Mariner Premier) I traded my 2002 windstar they gave me $8500.00 for a lease and JACKED up the price of the car from MSRP of $29860.00 to $34000.00 I was there for 3 hours before getting the car and didnt realize what I had done, my wife and I liked the mariner and thats what happens when you like somthing so much. DONT TRUST THEM THEY ARE NAKES WAITING TO POUNCE ON THE FIRST MOUSE THEY SEE.

Tired of constant recalls every time I purchased a new car. Service is slow. Salesmen dull. Constant e-mail and phone calls when they think it's time for your next purchase. Registered complaint with Corporation. No satisfaction. Salesman stated he was trying to meet sales for the end of the month.

My Review of Dana Lincoln-Mercury Ltd:
The manager (Chris) delayed informing ford motor credit that I had purchased a new vehicle and that payments on my previous vehicle should be stopped. Instead I was informed that Payments would continue for my 2000 vehicle which was traded in on May 17th under checking account debiting and additionally I would have to make a payment on the new 2003 vehicle,a total of $757.48 $357 out of pocket expense more than I should be paying. needless to say I contacted my bank and had to pay $30.00 to stop payment, a process the dealer (chris should have donehad he provided ford with a 5 business day notice. <br>The story gets better ! I had an extended service plan on the 2000 vehicle which was cancelled with a value of approx $400.00. I was told by chris I must wait 4 weeks for the refund. I drove out of the show room making all necessary payments in full. the lease that the deal;er should of done was to make necessary adjustments on my payment to them. My next course of action will be to back charge the dealer for the $400 on my charge card if I am not made whole soon and I will not wait weeks for this to happen!. <br> After Driving the vehicle for an hour and having the vehicle one day I discovered that the brakes needed service (please note that this vehicle went through 115 point inspection ) get the picture?. I was then told that I had to make an appointment for service as they were booked up. I had to speak with the manager who was able to fit me in the next day. The results were that the rotors had to be serviced a simple thing that could of and should of been identified by the service department when the car was Certified !. Their explaination was that the car had sat around and developed rust. The only saving point was the salesman Anthony Felline who is both kind and courteous and tried he best to resolve the issues but is limited in his athority to interceed. The Dealer has promised to install a a half roof on my new vehicle which was made part of the deal,unfortunatly they did not give me anything in writing which does not make me feel easy. I now have to rely on my trust in the salesman to fulfill his verbal commitment . <br> This story can have a happy ending simply by persuing my refund of <br>the $400 for the extended coverage,reimburse the $30 I had to spend to stop payment, and ensure that the roof for the car is ordered with the light kit and installed as promised as soon as possible. possible.
