My Review of Day Chevrolet Inc:
My husband and I had our 2003 VW Passat sedan serviced at Day auto for a non-working air conditioner. The shoddy repair started a fire in the engine. Unfortunately for us, the car was parked in our garage. In a nutshell, Day's mechanic burned not only our car but destroyed our house and all our possessions in it. I am writing this from a 2 bedroom apartment after spending the past 10 days at the Hampton Inn. A forensic inspection was done on the car and the investigator's report stated that an unapproved part was used in the repair of the a/c which lead to the destruction.
Gratefully, my husband and I and our dog were able to escape the house before we were injured. I cannot believe we have not heard from anyone at Day apologizing or offering any assistance.
Our life has been altered permanently due to one of Day's employees. Cherished heirlooms are gone forever due to negligence and we are starting starting over since we literally only had the clothes on our backs.
I plead with those thinking of servicing their cars at Day to think again - this could possibly happen to you.
