My Review of Delray Mazda:
Complete disorganization. NO ability to serve customer's needs. Change pricing, deal, details from person to person. No accountability. The WORST "customer service" and car experience OF MY LIFE. RUN, don't walk, from Delray Mazda. I was humiliated, lied to and, ultimately, cheated out of money with NO regard to honesty.

My Review of Delray Mazda:
I am glad that I didn't listen to the other blogs on this ratings site. I bought a new mazda 5 from these guys a month ago. I did all my research over the internet and phone. They quoted me a price, and after looking exhaustively around for a better deal, I could not find one. I haggled everyone else down hundreds of dollars, and only one dealer (our of 12 I spoke with) matched Delray's FIRST quote. The better price came with all kinds of conditions (you have to wait until the first of next month to buy the car from us, etc) and seemed shady, whereas Shelby at Delray was straight with me from day 1.
These guys dealt with me HONESTLY from the get-go. I was waiting for the other shoe to drop when I walked in the dealership - were they really selling me a 2008 model? Was it a sport instead of a grand touring? The surprise never came, and I couldn't be happier with car. I am thinking about going back to get another new car, and I wouldn't go anywhere else to get a mazda.

My Review of Delray Mazda:
This dealership deserves their President's Club and Gold Cup awards for it's sales department, but my experience with the service department is far less impressive. During my last appointment, I stood around in the service garage for 20 minutes until someone finally waited on me and there were two service guys standing around doing nothing but drinking coffee while I was waiting. When I picked the car up, the cashier just handed me the keys and I had to wander the used car parking lot to try and find where they had parked my car. Nobody pulled the car into the service area as they usually do or even directed me to where it was parked. The plastic bag protector was still over the seat and the paper sheet protector was still on the floor mat and the car did not get washed or vacuumed. There was grease and oil left dripping all over the window frames and glass, both inside and out on the driver's and passenger's door from their attempt to fix the noisy passenger window motor. The window motor still makes clicking sounds so the problem didn't get resolved and the car was left a mess. The only reason I pay the premium of going to the dealer for service is for the extra perks like the car getting washed, better quality workmanship and that they presumably know more about Mazdas than a general repair shop would. It's a shame their service department is so sloppy and lacking in customer service because I had an excellent experience with the sales department when I bought the car there.
**UPDATE**
The service manager was persistent in trying to contact me following my service and once I spoke with him and explained my experience he apologized profusely and was embarrassed about what happened. He went above & beyond to convince me to return to their dealership for my next service. I was surprised by and pleased with their response and action to improve my experience so I will definitely be going back there to give them another shot at servicing my Mazda.

My Review of Delray Mazda:
I called and the lady was very friendly so I went in to look at a B series truck I have been considering. While there, I witnessed some of the most atrocious business practices that I have recently heard of. A couple who was thinking about buying a car was repeatedly insulted to my right, and high pressure sales tactics and lying to the customer appears to be par for the course. After the General manager told me that the exact truck and options I was looking for was not available, I found it online at another dealer's inventory less than one hour away. These business practices are totally inexcusable. I work in sales for a living, and I'm pleased to say that I would rather lose a sale and maintain my dignity than give gratuitious offense to those who would pay my salary if duly respected. This experience was incomprehensibly nauseating and I'm going to go buy the truck I want from another local Mazda dealership.

My Review of Delray Mazda:
They tried to sell me a used Honda Civic. The car was presented to me as a LX coupe - they tried high pressure sales, they kept hammering me for 3 hours even though I wanted to leave to eat lunch & think about it. They did not want me to leave their lot without the car, even offered to let me take it to lunch while they started the paperwork. I escaped their grasp (& had to be nasty to get out of there) then I did some research to find out the car was actually a VP model & should have been $3000 cheaper than what they were telling me was blue book on the LX.
