I am happyvwith the service but I feel that you are much too pricey. I specifically requested to look at 2 vehicles listed on the internet. The salesman needed to clear the ice from them (not an issue, the weather the day before was atrocious). 15 minutes later, he came back the internet. The salesman needed to clear the ice from them (not an issue, the weather the day before was atrocious). 15 minutes later, he came back with the news that 1 of the vehicles could not be seen "because it had a transmission problem" THEN WHY WAS IT LISTED?! The 2nd vehicle was lovely, but $3000 more... again, I knew that going in. Once we started talking money Frank would disappear for 15-20 minutes at a time to "get the numbers", the first of which was an insult at best. When I told him the wholesale value of my trade, he then disappeared again for over 20 minutes and came back with a slightly better offer. We told him "NO" and were getting ready to leave. He then disappeared, again, for another 15+ minutes, this time coming back with his manager. When we got up to leave again, the manager finally made an offer that was within reason. That whole process took 2.5 hours...for a vehicle we were going to pay cash for! When we asked when the car would be ready, we were told "a couple of days". Two days later Frank called to tell us that there was a problem "removing the lien from the vehicle" and that it should be cleared up in 3 more days. In other words, they attempted to sell us a car for which they did not hold clear title! In Frank's defense, he was not told by management either. At point I looked for a different vehicle and cancelled the purchase. I will NEVER go back to Destination Kia. More
NEVER again will I buy Kia, step foot at Destination Kia Albany, NY or refer my worst enemy to them for any service or sale. This place is the epitome of what's wrong with customer service today and whats wrong with laborers these days- techinicians only being able to repair what a computer tells them how to- where are the REAL mechanics!? Rude, incompetent, dishonest, lack of communication, confrontational, arrogant, pampas- you name it the list could go on and on. DO NOT BUY A KIA TELLURIDE- YOUR ENGINE WILL BLOW!! They are known to have engine issues, guzzling oil issues, misfiring issues even had engine recalls. (Check your oil between changes!!!) Do your research please!! FB has several complaint groups that will spell it all out for you! I finally got my vehicle back, after close to 5 months, backordered engines, being told one thing one day and something different the next, telling me the parts were there and it would be done Monday, calling Tuesday b/c noone reached out to me to find out the parts werent even there yet, what!? So, after this nearly 5 month nightmare of wishy washy, if any at all, communication I went to pick up my vehicle (engine was replaced and she was ready for pick up). While doing a quick once over I noticed dings and scratches and damage to the vehicle that wasnt there before, parts on the front passenger floor that needed to be reattached.... $5000 for my part of a replaced engine (was out of warranty and my specific VIN didnt have the engine recall; the company, after fighting tooth and nail with them and them determining it was of no fault of my own that the engine blew, agreed to pay 50%- in my eyes thats a confession of guilt to their faulty engines) and it turns out shes not ready for pick up and it had to be left there again!!!! This also- $5000 in car rental fees for being without a vehicle for 2 months, toll fees for the thruway (NY charges close to $5/day in a rental just to use the thruway on top of the actual tolls, there is a cap amount though) and discovered it was cheaper to just purchase a brand new one, so I did, and you can bet on it WAS NOT A KIA. Sooo the nightmare continues, it was sent to the body shop to be repaired (yes they covered the costs being it happened on their watch on their property) and just hit repeat, miscommunication it will be ready this day it wasnt, it will be ready end of week it wasnt, another week went by and another weekend went by finally the car is finished..... I will be offloadong this car asap because I have no trust, no faith and no desire to continue driving it; the new motor comes with a warranty of only 12,000 miles after that who knows what will happen... Im not sticking around to fine out! More
