My Review of Downers Grove Saab:
advised i was interested in specific car and was told i would need $6-7,000 down payment. i said no. they immediately said $2-3,000 would be ok. i made appointment. when i arrived they had let someone else test drive the car and it wasnt there. by the time i finally saw it, my time had been wasted because the vehicle had a dent in it and the check engine light was on. salesman offered to show me other vehicles, and i finally selected one that seemed to be in decent shape. i asked for an extended warranty, however they chose the length of the warranty without asking what i wanted. later that day after the purchase, i looked online and found out the dealership lied about the price of the car and i was charged $2,000 extra and they did not even have the decency to take the car offline so i wouldn't notice. even after this, i was contemplating the purchase of another vehicle from them and the management lied to me about my credit score (neither my fico or auto enhanced were what they said it was) and they did not submit it to any lenders that could have done the deal and instead told me what the lenders probably would say. i am highly disappointed. since purchasing, customer service has declined greatly and deal has not demonstrated good ethics.
