My Review of Edmark Chevrolet:
I bought a truck from Edmark three years ago. At the time the price on the vehicle was great with their one price policy. I had a renewed faith in auto sales. However, I spent the last couple of weekends working with Ben on a truck deal. With GMC just releasing the 2500HD, I could understand why the "Our prices are posted in every vehicle!" policy wasn't standing up. However this past weekend, I noticed that they were still not posted and having my brother get a quote on the same truck, I noticed that their prices fluctuate on how well you sell your interest in the vehicle. I also noticed that the sales tactics of old have returned with the high-pressure scripted BS that usually leaves one excited about their purchase but sickened by dealing with so called professionals who would sell out their own mothers for an extra $250.00 in profit. The biggest problem is that I don't blame the salesmen who are busting their humps to make a living but rather the general mangement of the business for allowing such activity to take place. One final note; the turnover at Edmark is tremendous. Either the salemen overshoot the standards of poor business ethics or the work release programs that they are on prohibit doing a lot of the same things that put them in prison to begin with. I find that the best type of people to manage car sales at Edmark are typically found in large urban areas distributing crack to babies.
