Best Dealership I have experienced in a lot of years. From my salesman, Zippy Goldfluss, to the Finance Director, Chris Hamlin, we were very satisfied in every respect of buying a new VW Jetta.

We were looking at cars, trying to decide which one would be best suit our purpose, and when we walked into the Elk Mountain Motors dealership in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, we were met by Chase Wilfer who introduced himself to us and was perhaps the most polite, helpful car salesman we have ever met. Chase showed us the vehicles we were interested in and explained their options, prices etc. and answered all our questions and concerns, and was never pushy or high pressure. We thanked him, and explained we wanted to look at some other makes of cars and would get back to him if we were interested in a VW Passat TDI. Chase was very understanding, and never once tried to high pressure us into buying a car while we were there, and we really appreciated that. We thought about the Passat over the weekend, and called him on Monday morning and expressed our desire to learn more about the Passat and see if we could make a deal on it. Chase and Chris Hamlin, the Dealership Finance Director, helped us arrive at an agreeable price and gave us several options on financing. All in all, this was the most positive, pleasant car buying experience I have ever experienced, and I have purchased several vehicles in my fifty plus years of driving. We did decide on the 2013 Passat TDI, and in the week we have owned it, we are extremely happy with our decision, and would definitely recommend The Elk Mountain Motors Volkswagen dealership, and their very capable staff to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle.

There was a truly genuine quality about the dealership. Zippy, the salesman who assisted me was knowledgeable and engaging throughout the process, and his follow up after the sale indicated his commitment beyond the completion of the sale. Chris Hamlin, the Finance Director, personified the qualities of sincerity and commitment while assisting me with financing. Truly outstanding and an asset to both the dealership and customer. Buying my car at Elk mountain motors was a very enjoyable experience. I looked at used cars in Colorado Springs and Denver, and they by far had the best selection and prices. Robert was extremely helpful in finding me a car that had all bells and whistles I wanted, and a car that I could actually afford!! Robert had my brand new studded tires put on the car, it was beautifully cleaned and detailed, and there was a full tank of gas. Was so nice to pick up my car and have it all ready to go! They even helped me set up the blue tooth. Chris and Robert kept me up to date every step of the way with how the financing would work, and all of the logistics with the car. Chris worked magic making numbers work for me, and getting a competitive interest rate. When I called a week later concerned about the breaks, they checked the car out no questions asked. Customer service was very friendly- even gave me a ride to target and back while car was being serviced. Working with Chris and Robert was a pleasure! I would highly recommend Elk Mountain Motors!!!

I came to this dealer from Grand Junction, Colorado to purchase a used Lexus. It was on a Saturday. After we purchased the car it was nearly closing time. The salesman and finance manager seemed to disappear. I had a hard time finding anyone to help me remove the window stickers so we could see to drive home. The gas tank was nearly empty and the best they would do is offer to fill it only to half a tank.

A couple of days later Chris Hamlin called me to tell me be couldn't process the title until he collected another $143 to pay the County sales tax. I gave him my credit card number. Four weeks later I noticed the radiator was leaking. I called and asked about the three month warranty they offered and they never called me back! Finally, after several phone calls and left messages I managed to get ahold of Christ Hamlin. He told me that it wasn't covered under their warranty but he would like to have his service department look at it and see what he could do to help me. He gave me his direct phone number and email and told me to get in touch when I could bring it back to set up an appointment. After several calls and emails these last two weeks I have yet to hear from him!

I ended up replacing the radiator myself because the leak grew worse.

Customer service at this dealer is truly awful! Most of the time when you call you get an answering service. I would definitely NOT recommend this dealer.

I bought an A4 from Elk Mountain in 2003. For ten years and 140,000 miles I've taken the car to them for service almost every time it's been needed, and my experience has always been good. The work has been done well, in a timely manner, and they have gone out of their way to take care of me.

So I have been meaning to take my origonal post off for a long time.Initial visit was good....everything to follow was HORRIBLE!!!! I'm sorry I didnt come in and drop $100,000.00 on a new car I financed one through you and I still regret ever walking through your doors!!!!

Got great price on trade in for new car and when I took it in for the first service, Bruce was very courteous, professional and outstanding to deal with. They had the car back out when promised and it was clean, it's worth the trip to Glenwood.

My husband and I have bought and sold several cars over the past few years and this was by far the best experience at a dealership!! We traded in a truck for a car and walked out of there feeling good for once!! Thanks to the staff who stayed late to help us get this done in a quick amount of time!!!
