hi Dean, I appreciate getting back after my feedback. At this point I already took my car to another dealer to perform the service however I always check with Doral Acura first as it is closer to my house. My advise, be proactive instead of reactive. Technology allows everyone to be informed. I bet you as many consumers, do your homework before spending a significant amount of money so, if you mind not losing business, someone has to be responsible of been aligned with nearby competitors. Next time I need service or a pricey part and see a better deal somewhere else, I'll check if Doral Acura can price match. I try to support local business but I'm not looking to overpay. We all have the obligation to spend hard earned money wisely.

UPDATE. Doral Acura finally produced documentation for the $1998 "Protection Pack". It includes a PermaPlate 7yr appearance protection warranty that looks pretty descent and a LoJack 3yr limited theft warranty that only pays a $5000 benefit if the car's not recovered. And, it can be cancelled for a full refund within 60 days. I'm still disappointed these unwanted add-ons inflated my cost, but at least I actually got something for them. It shouldn't have been this difficult.
