My Review of Fall River Ford:
My wife and I bought an 02 Ford Focus Wagon from them about two years ago. When we bought it, we were given a guarantee that they would make good on any repairs which needed to be done within the first 30 days.

I took it to my mechanic (Goodyear in North Dartmouth) and they needed to replace the tie rods on the rear axle, as well as some other smaller repairs. When I brought the repair bill back to Fall River Ford, they refused to honor their guarantee, even after I spoke with the owner.

To be fair, their sales team is excellent, very low pressure. I got a decent price on the car, but it wasn't nearly as good a deal once I add in the several hundred dollars they stuck me with in repairs.

Just be aware that when you buy a used car from them, you're buying it "as is". The guarantee they promise you isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

My Review of Fall River Ford:
Bought '02 Explorer used 01/04 for $22K w/48K - at the time were going for $17.5K-$22K. I was a repeat customer and satisfied so bought with them. It went in for new tires because previous owner didn't rotate and keep inflated right and were worn unevenly and for a recalled valve body in tranmission. Car wasn't broken, just did these as agreement for sale. My wife piked it up and I drove to work the next day and found the transmission slipping and a whine that hummed through the cabin. They wanted to fix tranny I insisted they replace, I went to get it and found a rattle underneath and the shifter was hard to go into drive and the O/D wouldn't turn off (Important for when I towed the boat). They asked me to take it and bring it back. Went back and reported hum was getting louder, they replaced the steering column to match the tranny which was for an '03 - they put the wrong one in and now installed the wrong steering column to match wrong tranny! Nobody cared, Fernando yelled at them in front of me and then when he walked away they lead mechanic laughed at him and also said that the Service Manager, Bernie didn't know about cars. still he said he didn't hear a hum. Finally Bernie made them check out the rear differential after I borught it back again and they found it to be damaged so they replaced. Later I found the car to have both rear springs cracked straight though! I've never seen this - both cracked. Also the digital part of dahe started going on/off while driving. I went to Tasca and had them fix everything and paid $100 deductible from my ext. warranty. I got it back in 5 hours and never had a problem again - traded it two years later.
