I found a friendly and non-pushy used car buying experience. I traded my 2003 Forester for a 2004 Rav4 (with44000 fewer miles)....it's an expense I hope to be well worth it as I went to Toyota for longevity and reputation. Craig Kinney was friendly and did not hesitate to show me the less expensive car and Amy was clear and professional yet personable in the finance process. Keith worked with me to get the deal that could work for me. I guess the real test is now in the follow-up and service. i won't expect less than the sales experience gave me. That's it!
PS: I love the Rav4 and am luxuriating in the automatic transmission after being a diehard standard transmission girl forever.

My wife and I went into Falmouth Toyota last Saturday looking for a used vehicle. As we walked in the door we were greeted by Ian Nixon who ended up showing us around and helping us to find a vehicle to meet our family's needs. Ian was very helpful and answered all our questions. He was very patient as we took a few cars for a test drive. After spending a couple hours we decided we were not ready to make any decisions. We were told that we should take our time that no decisions needed to be made today. It was a very positive experience. After a couple days we called Ian and told him we had made our decision to buy a used certified Camry. We arranged a time this week that worked with our schedules to complete the paperwork and take delivery of the car.

Having been through the car buying process with other dealers I prepared myself for what I expected to by a 2 - 3 hr process to take delivery of the car. To my surprise we were in and out in under an hour driving our new car home. All the paperwork was ready, we signed the financing agreement, Ian gave us a tour of the new vehicle features and we were on our way. It was a great experience. I have honestly waited longer at other dealerships to have my oil changed during a scheduled appointment.

Car dealerships are not expected to be very effective when it comes to treating the customer fairly and with professionalism - and I expected Falmouth Toyota to be typical. But I was wrong. Ken Collings, my salesperson, was professional, honest, low pressure oriented, and overall someone I not only would buy a vehicle from, but would actually have a beer with in his off-hours. And I don't just drink with anyone!! I was interested in possibly leasing a Toyota, but didn't know all the nuances of such an arrangement. Ken took the time to explain the pros and cons and carefully helped me consider my decision. I was most appreciative of this treatment. The whole experience wasn't hurried, and i ultimately ended up leasing a Venza from the dealership.

Once the sale was made, he didn't shuttle me off to the financial trust of the dealer, but hung with me the whole way. And he negotiated honestly and fairly on my trade. I felt I knew what my trade was worth, and Ken came darned close.

While I haven't experienced the service center yet, I am confident they will also be capable and professional. Overall, my experience was very positive, probably the best I have ever had. Being 65 years of age, I have purchased my share of vehicles, so that is saying something. I would and will recommend Falmouth Toyota and Ken Collings to my friends and family.

All the staff at Falmouth Toyota, but especially our salesman Ian Nixon, were terrific, helpful, low-key, attentive. This purchase was my first Prius and Ian was patient with my learning curve. I would recommend highly both the sales and service departments. I appreciated their professionalism.

I was greeted at the door with a smile by Townsend Wells who was courteous and very helpful. He took the time to show me around the vehicle, we went for a test ride and he explained how the features in the Solara worked. I had a question about how the drivers door closed and he made sure that it would be addressed. My experience with Amy Kiloran was a positive experience, she explained all of the documents that I would be signing and she had my car registered the day I picked it up.

The whole team at Falmouth Toyota was very helpful and made my experience with my purchase easy. I will defintely recommend this dealer.
