My Review of Feld Chevrolet Co:
Their customer service is horrible. I do not recommend going with this dealer for sales or service. I wouldn't even call what they offer service. That would be using the word loosely.

My Review of Feld Chevrolet Co:
I bought a used car there. Not even 300 miles and 32 days later, I find out it has a cracked head due to the wrong coolant being put in before I bought it. When I contacted them about it, they told me there was nothing I could do. So, I tried again only to be told they could "play stupid" and sell me a warranty for $1500 which was half the price I paid for the car anyway. So, I bought a car from them and can't even drive it. Thanks Feld!

My Review of Feld Chevrolet Co:
Up through the sale, I thought this was the dealer to go to. The trust relationship built while I was evaluating the used minivan was very good. BUT, after the sale, thing went very bad. Shortly after purchase of the vehicle from Feld, I noticed an intermittent wheel hop condition when accelerating from a complete stop. While still within the 30-day/2000 mile warranty period, I brought the van into the used car service center to address this issue along with another problem I was having with the airbag system. A repair was made to address the problem with the airbag system, but they were unable to duplicate the wheel hop condition. The wheel hop condition continued to occur intermittently, but I was unable to cause it to occur on command. It wasn't until several months later that the condition was diagnosed. The final diagnosis was that the wheel hop condition was a transmission problem and the transmission would need to be rebuilt or replaced.

I wasn't initially expecting full warranty support from Feld. But this was a condition identified during the warranty period and Feld's liability should not be eliminated just because they failed to diagnose the problem during the warranty period. Considering that the condition was identified during the warranty period, I expected some special considerations. In August, I spoke with the customer service manager (Ms. Rodenhofer) and the general manger (Mr. Bob Chitwood). Mr. Chitwood was nearly belligerent during our conversation, repeatedly commenting that he just didn't understand people like me who expected to get handouts from everyone else!

The price offered by Feld for the repair exceeded the price I was able to get from another dealer!
