My Review of Fitzgerald Toyota:
My husband and I were in the market for a new car as one of our cars was totaled in an accident. We looked at several different makes and models of cars before coming to Fitzgerald Toyota to look at a 2009 Camry. Marcus Beverly was our salesman. He provided excellent customer service from the moment we pulled up. He found out what car we were interested in, directed us to the car, pointed out the salient features and asked if we had any questions. Then... he left us alone to explore the car by ourselves. When we were ready for a test drive, he pointed out all the safety features, engine performance information, etc that enhanced one's driving experience in the car. When we got back to the dealership, he found the exact car that we'd be interested in on the lot and ran the actual numbers for us so we would know exactly what our payments would be. He ran the numbers for both a 4 cylinder engine and the V-6 just in case. Other dealerships made us wait over a half an hour to discuss the numbers and ultimately didn't give us anything concrete. Fitzgerald has no haggle pricing and offers a very fair price for the car. We did our homework and ended up paying $100 over invoice. It was an excellent deal. Marcus made our experience with Fitzgerald Toyota smoother than we realized a car purchase could be. He never failed to be solicitous and we appreciated his patience and willingness to answer any question we had. My husband and I would highly recommend this dealership to others who are interested in purchasing a Toyota and, in particular, we would recommend Marcus Beverly. He exhibited a level of customer service that is rarely enjoyed these days.

My Review of Fitzgerald Toyota:
This transaction began as an internet inquiry and lead to us driving away completely satisfied. John Reida (sales consultant) went out of his way to make sure that he got us the best deal for our trade and our new Sequioa. When I had questions on the numbers he was giving me not adding up he had the 4 different people explain how they worked. The dealership closed at 7 and the whole staff stayed till 9:45 closing the deal making sure that I was completely comfortable with the sale. Thanks Fitz this type of customer service is the reason why this is my 6th car in 12 years that I have bought from you!

My Review of Fitzgerald Toyota:
Hi,
I had equally bad experience as the others who have posted reviews here.
(1) I have been there for oil change 3 times and each time it took 3 hrs to do it.
(2) When I got a service done, it went over budge by hundreds of dollars as they kept recommending and adding things. Finally, I had to ask them to stop doing this. They are just trying to rip people off by scaring them with consequences if they don't follow their recommendations.
(3) They have been persistently recommending that I get an engine de-sludge done for $2,800. On researching I found out that there was a class action suit against Toyota regarding sludge problems. Obviously, they know but did not tell me about it. I intend to follow-up with the company to find out what the deal is but it is possible that the engine de-sludging will be convered by Toyota.
All in all, this is not a place I would recommend to anyone.

My Review of Fitzgerald Toyota:
They took a long time to respond to me and they quoted me on a new tundra which i specifically asked for a 2008 toyota tundra and received a quote after 3 days. so i came in to purchase the truck and they changed the price. they told me they quoted me on a NEW Tundra yes a left over from 2007 with only a mere 5600 miles. so i will never ever go there again unless i would like to waste an entire day again.

My Review of Fitzgerald Toyota:
i first began with FITZGERALD about 1985 .i brought my oldsmobile to them with a difficult engine problem that occurred after i took my car to a non dealer service establishment . they did not know me and didn't do the initial work , however went out of their way to diagnose and prove that the problem was caused by the work that this other facility had done .In addition this work was done at no charge as i returned to the other place and had them correct the problem .i have been a loyal customer ever since and a Toyota customer since 1990 .
Customer service- they know who i am when i arrive ,they go over and above as a rule , if i could give them a six i would .
Quality of work - they get it right the first time almost every time .if there is an issue the make every effort to make it right asap.
Friendliness- the whole team is on board with friendliness , i feel important when i do business at lakeforest toyota .
overall experience- excellent - they go out of their way so often that i have lost count .when there is an issue i am always treated fairly .
Price - they are always competitive , sometimes lowest , but always fair , and add in the loaner car and the value can't be beat .

My Review of Fitzgerald Toyota:
When my 2002 Highlander developed knocking and hesitating, I took it in for an advertised "$69 Pre-Vacation Special." Imagine my surprise to be handed a huge laundry list of things that supposedly needed doing, including a $2200 "de-sludge" procedure to rid my engine of buildup. I called a mechanic friend, who said the knocking problem could well be more serious, and might even require a complete engine re-build, at around $4500. Thus, he said DO NOT pay them $2200 only to turn around and pay them another $4500. Days later, just on a fluke, I discovered that the sludge problem is the subject of a class-action settlement by Toyota, and I was entitled to a FREE rebuild by the Service Shop. Do you think Fitzgeraled was going to tell me that??? Ever??? Needless to say, when I called back and mentioned the lawsuit, they changed their tune and agreed to cover the work. But not without recommending another $1100 in "other work." No way. Rip-off artists extraordinare...

My Review of Fitzgerald Toyota:
Will was great! Went in to purchase a RAV-4 and when we got there it was all ready for us to test drive. During the whole "paper-work" process he was very laid back and not pushy at all. Other employees that I dealt with (F&I) were okay. They seemed like they could be a little pushy with the extras. We went through this whole DVD on extras we could buy knowing full well we would not be purchasing them.

I traded in for this car and my trade-in value was also very reasonable. My only my second dealer experience, it was a pleasant one.

My Review of Fitzgerald Toyota:
I own a 1993 Toyota Camry and went in for an oil change with a 30 min wait time. After 2hrs passed, I received a long list of recommended repairs of which most had been done in the last 6 months. There were other customers who arrived after I did and left before me and I noticed their vehicles were much newer. It was totally obvious to me that the technician was looking to do much more than an oil change. What a rip off!

My Review of Fitzgerald Toyota:
Paid $30 at service station to determine O2 sensor was bad. Paid Fitzgerald $42 to verify same. Fitzgerald couldn't remove sensor (said it was "siezed"), wanted additional $500 to replace exhause manifold. stopped work, took Toyota back to service station, removed sensor without a problem, put in genuine Toyota part. Either mechanics at this dealership are incapable of basic repairs, or they routinely rip off customers.
