My Review of Formby Insterstate Ford:
Despite having purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership in the last 6 years I was refused a warranty repair today because I did not buy my current truck from them. My stearing wheel need repair or replacement due to the fact that the leather is seperating. I brought my vehicle in 3 different times on two different days so they could look at it and then "get more information". During the second visit they asked me where I bought the vehicle. When I told them I purchased it at another dealer I asked them if that mattered and the rep said no. He then told me to come back after 1 when the service techs came back from lunch. I came back then and Adrian and Mike Shelley came out to look at my truck. Adrian mentioned to Mike that I purchased the vehicle in Loveland and Mike asked me why I did not take it to them to get the work done. I explained that I live down the street and Loveland is not on my normal route. He then gave me a song and dance about how Ford allocates so much money per dealer to do repair and how it messes things up when people go to different dealers than where they purchased. I clarified with Mike that I was driving a Ford truck and that is was under warrantyand that I was at a Ford dealership. He basically told me that he would not do the repair. I went inside to find the GM or the owner and neither were around. I went back into the service center and asked Mike one last time to fix my vehicle and he again told me to go back to the other dealer. He aslo said he did not think my repair would be covered under warranty. I asked him why and he could not articulate his reasoning. I asked him if stearing wheels should wear like that after 24,000 miles and he said definately not. I told him his service sucked and walked out. I called the Gm on the phone and he assured me he would get to the bottom of the situation tomorrow. One of the salespeople told me he would have the owner call me as well. When I called Ford 800# later they told me that sending customers to different dealers is not Ford's policy and that any dealer can do warranty work for any Ford. So now my satisfaction with Ford rests in the hands of the GM and Owner of the Formby dealership. They have always taken good care of me in the past so hopefully they will continue to do the same now. Their Service Director Mike Shelley does not know the first thing about building relationships with customers and growing his business. He should have taken the opportunity to earn my business rather than push a simple problem away and dammage the Formby's relationship with their customer.

My Review of Formby Insterstate Ford:
Terry sat down with me I was looking to down size from a f250 to a f150 to bring down my payments. Terry worked very hard and was able to get me qualified to stay in a f250 but also get me the power stroke deisel which I had always wanted to own for only a $100 more a month then I was paying on my 99 Ford F250 gas. The Power Stroke Desiel he was able to get me into was a 2003 Lariet top of the line which I thought I could never own because of the prices of the vehicles. I would recommend taking the drive from Denver to Dacono and dealing with Formby and their staff. My overall experience with the sales staff and service has been awesome. I would never take my truck to Omera or Sil-Ter Har Ford again. I was told I could not get into a desiel by Omera and the truck there was $10 K less then the truck I got here at Formby.
