My Review of Freeman Toyota of Hurst:
I went to to this Toyota dealership yesterday. I do not recall the names mostly because I am still being red. The sales guy was actually ok, a student of a nearby college. I test drove the car and I liked it. I told the salesguy that I was definitely interested in buying. The sticker price was $23,500 which is exactly what the Toyota website and the Edmund's website had for that car with those options. The salesguy comes back with an outrageous monthly payment (apparently they think no one knows how to do math). After I balked he said, let me talk to the manager. The manager came by, a little man, and he explained to me that the car was actually $29,500 and that I must have misread the sticker!!!! I didn't explain that I had a folder showing how that car was being sold at nearby dealerships for about the $23,500 number, or on ebay,or Yahoo autos, or Vehix.com, or cars.com. I said thank you and walked out. So, I would say, these these guys will try and see if they can overcharge you $6000. Even if I could have convinced them that "reality" was far different, I can not bear to deal with people who think to screw you over first. Feel free to have them call me!

My Review of Freeman Toyota of Hurst:
I wouldn't give these guys 20 cents again if you asked me. They are con artists and thieves. They take your money, play games with your contract and warranty and don't stand behind their own paperwork/product. Please do not buy a vehicle from this company. They will cheat you at every corner. Their warranties are worthless, their product inferior, and their customer service and follow-up horrendous. And their General Manager, Dane Miner, who so eagerly advertises on a local christian radio station singing the praises of his company and what a friendly dealership they are and how they put their customers first won't even return your repeated phone calls. I am not one to complain but this christian will swear on one thing... if I can keep one person from buying a car from these weasels and going thru the trama they have put me thru (i basically have a $30,000 vehicle which is worth 0 after the sell me a used vehicle with an engine problem and a bogus warranty)i will at least feel i've done my job. Please, please I don't care how much you like the car please do not purchase from this dealer. You will be sorry.

My Review of Freeman Toyota of Hurst:
My husband and I went in for a new Toyota Corolla. They haggled over the price but never gave us the final price of the car. They kept saying we will get to that later. Basically we wanted a 325 per month payment. They would go back and forth and it started out at 429.00. Uh NO not for a Corolla! This went on for two hours. My husband and I were walking out the door and they kept trying to make a deal. The price miraculously kept coming down but never to our liking. We left & 17 minutes later we get a call from the Manager or supervisor Tad saying they could have our payments to 340.00 - still no deal. For 3 days now they have harassed us with follow-up calls to get our business and now the payment could be 299.00 per month. This is ridiculous they first of all wasted our time knowing they could get the price down only to turn around and continue to call and get our business. Why didn't they do that in the first 30 minutes and get the sell? I found them to all be very shady and indirect. I, being a woman felt very frustrated. I knew what to ask and they did not like me asking questions. They would try to talk around the question to confuse us and when I would correct them they would ho-hum around the truth. It was very dishonest and they did not fool me or my husband. They kept throwing around the fact that we would be saving on gas so of course we should have a higher car payment becasue we could then afford it due to less use of gas. I must add with our vehicle trade in we were upside down $5000. That was fine we just wanted to see where we stood. It is so amazing that they start out with such a high number only to get it worked down to way below what we initially wanted only after we left. Another frustration was they immediately asked to run a credit report so they could have the leverage. Do not do business with these guys they are dishonest, shady and do not like for people to ask questions or expect immediate honest answers. They were very surprised that we did not take them up on this GREAT deal! We as consumers need to change the way car buying should be. I think I am going to CARMAX to buy a used vehicle just for their service.

My Review of Freeman Toyota of Hurst:
I had a nice sales consultant but Tad claiming to be the supervisor was a very rude and dishonest person. In any work place you expect the supervisor to be the kindest person there but not this guy, Tad. I signed a contract for a silver car. They did not have a silver car for me to drive off the same day. They told me it would be 2-3 weeks until the silver car comes in.
Instead they insisted I take a test drive in a red same model car as the silver. The sales person cunniningly convinced me to get the red car. Of course we needed a separate contract for the red car but instead they wrote over the contract for the silver car and jacked up the price. The price jumped up from 24000 to 29000. It doesn't stop there. The finance guy tells me that it would be 9 dollars a month for the 5 year warranty before the signing. I thought hey what a great deal so I agree to get the contract. After I signed it he printed out a different number $2220 was the total for the 5 year contract. He did not even mention the 2220 that was added. When one does the math 9 dollars a month times 60 months that comes out to be around $540 total dollars. After that they did not even gave me a contract to keep. They said they would mail me the contract in 3 days. I went home for a bit because I have not eaten and had been at the dealership for 3 hours or more. After I got my mind straight, I went back to the dealership and asked them for a contract again. They sent over every sales person they had to try to talk to me. The final guy that talked to me claimed to be the supervisor but he was not. He had a smirk on his face from the start. I asked the supervisor nicely may I have a copy of the contract that I just signed today. He yells at me that I already have one. Then I said to him why would I be hear if I already had a copy of the contract. We rant and rave for 5 minutes and then he walks away from me. I knew something was up so I went over to him and said I want to null the contract because I don't have a copy and the price of the car went up with out my knowledge. He blatantly lies to everyone in the dealership saying he already gave me a contract so no one else in the dealership could help me. This gets better. He then calls the police on me to escort me away. The police came at closing time. The "supervisor" rushes to the police and tells his fabricated story. Of course, the police did not know who was telling the truth, so the police tells me to wait till monday and call the coporate office. I peacefully left then. I would NOT ever want to deal with Freeman Toyota in Hurst, Texas again after this experience.

My Review of Freeman Toyota of Hurst:
I would absolutely recommend this dealer to anyone who is looking for a car. Professional, honest, friendly, courteous. They make it worth your while to come in there. They dropped $5000 off the car I purchased. Same with service brought the car in 5000 miles later and they were a little slow but that's what I expect. As long as they fix it right. They put customer service before profit. And that is a wonderful thing. I commend them for being one of the best (in my opinion) Toyota dealers around. Keep up the STELLAR work!

My Review of Freeman Toyota of Hurst:
great customer service. i brought my veh in for brake work that I was told by another place was needed. matt was completely honest telling me that the tech pulled off my wheels and stated that my brakes still had 60% left front and rear and that I did not need brakes. one of the managers, ron, was very helpful performing cashiering duties when the main cashier was busy with other customers. so getting in and out was very easy. i also appreciate the fact that my car was washed for free. great job guys - keep it up

My Review of Freeman Toyota of Hurst:
Toyota of Hurst is the "worst"! I bought my vehicle from them 3 years ago. The 1993 Corolla recently had to be towed to the dealership for service. While determining whether to have the car repaired or simply trade it in on something new, I was sorely disappointed to find that they are not in the least bit flexible on financing or sticker prices... they also wanted to give me bottom dollar on my trade in (which is still in good condition) and waved a kelly blue book printoff for my car in my face when I questioned the trade in value. The car, needing approximately 130 dollars in parts, cost me $1,071.76 dollars to repair. I was quoted $912. Repairs, I might add, that I probably could have done myself. They were dishonest from the get -go about what needed to be done, as I could see AFTER I paid to have them service the vehicle. When I drove off the lot, I heard a scary scraping noise in the front end. When I pulled over, I realized that not only had someone driven my car 10 miles and left a cigarette burn in my seat cover, there was a sharp decrease in the braking performance, and someone had removed 2 of 3 bolts needed to hold up a large section of my car's splash guard. And not replaced them. Therefore my car was dragging plastic on pavement until I could find replacement bolts.

This dealership seems nice on the first visit, but they WILL leave you out in the cold.
