My Review of Gartner Buick Hyundai Saab:
Brought my car in under factory warranty for a few problems. Sunroof would stop when holding the button to close. I told them it was the motor and they kept saying it was the switch. They replaced it. Drove it home, still wasn't working right. Brought it in again. They told me it was because it had to be reprogrammed everytime you use it. Brought it back again and they insisted it was the switch. They replaced that again and still not working. Brought it in again and they said it was a "Module". Replaced that, still not working. They screwed up the sunroof cover. Every time I Hit the brakes it would slam shut. Hit the gas and it would go back. They service guy tried telling me that's normal. They ended up fixing that after I argued that it's not normal. It's currently back at the dealership for the sunroof issue. They called me and told me that "Problem not found". So I told them to keep trying. Service advisor tried it and "problem found". I also had my car in cause I told them the engine sounded loud. They said it was because I was a few hundred miles past oil change and I have an aftermarket filter. Anybody knows the only way it would get loud from the oil is if you have NO oil. Told them about a rattle in my dash. Took the mechanic for a ride and he said he couldn't hear it, even though I pointed it
out. My friends who are not mechanics could hear it. He said I need to get a new wheel bearing because I need to fix one problem before he even looks at the other. Took the car to another dealership for another opinion before I spent $300 on a wheel bearing. The other dealership said it was just uneven wear on my tires. So basically if you go to this dealership, chances are that they are going to sell you something you don't need or they aren't going to even try to find your problem. It's a pretty big inconveniance to have to take off work all the time to keep bringing my car there.

My Review of Gartner Buick Hyundai Saab:
They sold me a new wheel for saab, then replaced the new wheel with a wheel that was not damaged. Had to go back and they had to get good wheel back from junk yard and replace the correct wheel. Mean time, found out that the wheel they did replace (incorrectly) the tire was put on wrong, with the arrow going in the wrong direction. their reply as to why the work was done wrong was not acceptable. You would think a dealership would know what a bad rim looked like, or at least verify they were doing the correct work. Then when confronted, they couldn't give me a loaner, so had to take offmore time from work to sit while the work was performed......

My Review of Gartner Buick Hyundai Saab:
I recomend this dealer with reservations. I bought a used car from them. When I discovered a problem with the engine, getting them to fix it under their 30 day warrenty was like pulling teeth. THey kept trying to sell me their extended warrenty to cover it instead of honoring their warrenty.

If you want to buy a car from them, go ahead, they're not any worse than any other used car dealer. Just keep in mind that their "thorough inspection" is a joke. All they did was give the car an oil change, change the tires and brakes, and detailed the car. They missed a cracked exhaust and a coolant leak.

Since they eventually fixed the problem, I have no real complaints except how difficult it was to get them to do the repairs. I hear this is typical for lots of used car dealers. You probably won't have any difficulties, but if you do, be prepared for lots of resistance.
