My Review of Gary Mathews Volkswagen:
I have used this dealer on several occassions for service. They are incompetent and have actually lied to me about the repairs that they performed. On my EuroVan, they claimed that the shift rod was bent and made me wait a week for parts. I asked for the replaced parts and later discovered that there was nothing wrong with the rod. The part that was broken was a little $2.00 bushing. It was not included in the bag of parts. On another occassion, they replaced the engine control module under warranty and did not bother to tell me that my other keys would need to be reprogrammed. This is not a trivial matter when you live 120 miles away.
