My Review of Gregory Dodge:
I found the dealer rater website very useful when I recently was in the market for a new vehicle. As a result of the assistance I received from this website, I want to add some of my own thoughts so that others can benefit from my experience and make educated decisions.
My impressions of Gregory Dodge is based upon the time I went in inquiring about a brand new Dodge Charger and Caliber. I have not had any experience with used car buying at this store, and I have not used their service department. As for the sales staff, I very much question their professionalism as the associate to whom I was assigned was not very knowledgable about Dodge products. At least she was honest by stating she was transferred from Gregory's Jeep store in Lake Villa and was much more comfortable with Jeep products. Frankly, I did not have much confidence in my sales associate, and she really tarnished my impression of the dealer because it made me wonder why Gregory would entrust sales to folks who clearly did not know their products. My salesperson also had a great deal of trouble accessing the most basic information on the Dodge website, and frequently had to rely upon her associates to assist her. My salesperson barely knew what she had in inventory. The icing on the cake was when she said she was out brochures on the cars in which I was interested. In my opinion dealers should be adequetely stocked with informational material even if the same information is available online. My basic impression of this dealer was that it is sloppy, and it really came across on so many levels.
My final thought is that with other choices in Chrysler/Dodge retailers in the area you would be better served going elsewhere unless you are truly wedded to this dealer or live very close by it.
