well after reading the first reviews i must say i totally disagree...

gresham chrysler has been one of the most comfortable experiences i've had with dealerships... the customer service was excellent bobbie and walter actually went out and got me some lunch while i was waiting,
which was very kind. my experience there was haggle free right from the get go, negotiations went smooth, no this that this that price this how much off that how much more this... none AT ALL!!

which kinda made me think? ARENT SALESMAN SUPPOSED TO DO THIS?!!?

but they didnt do any of that,

i bought my third jeep from them and im going back for my fourth some time this july...

basicly in a nut shell...

gresham chrysler jeep = great experience, great salesman, great mangement, and overall great service

Met w/ salesman haggled, left. Came back next day& settled on a deal w/ salesman & salesmanager. Following day got a $4,000 cashiers check & went out to close the deal. Both guys we dealt with were gone. An older guy, a big ex-cop named Greg, took over--& he tacked on another $800 dollars &refused to include the title/license fee and alarm that was promised. We had even called first to confirm the deal as we needed a ride out. We left feeling totally lied to & set up. We had taken out a $10,000 loan to pay the balance. We suspect it was all preplanned. We took a bus home--took over 70 minutes & we were steaming mad all the way. BE CAREFUL. GET ANY OFFER IN WRITING or go elsewhere and don't waste your time!!! Worst experience of our life. Just a big phony, exhausting & maddening runaround.

http://home.comcast.net/~bsbe/gcpje.html<br>Why I dislike Gresham Chrysler Plymouth Jeep Inc. <br><br>Do not do business with them they lie! <br><br>Vehicle problem: <br><br>My 1996 Grand Voyager has had repeated problems with the transmission banging/clunking into gear. Each of the occasions they tell me nothing is the matter and then they change the fluid and call it good. That solves the problem for about a month. Then the problem reappears during cold weather. <br><br>On March 17, 1999 I had my second transmission repair by Gresham Chrysler Plymouth Jeep Inc. This repair was for the same problem I had in December of 1997 and November of 1998. <br>This repair was covered by my Chrysler Service Contract (minus the $50.00 deductible) along with the rental of a vehicle for the time the service of my car was being done. I rented a Ford Escort from Enterprise car rental in Gresham OR. In my repair they found a piston that was bad and replaced it and the problem went away. Until two weeks later when the transmission would not shift out of first gear causing the engine to rev excessively. This happened Thursday evening (4/1/99) and we drove the vehicle home slowly. When I got home I called Chrysler Roadside assistance to tow the vehicle to the dealer to again fix the transmission. The service person who told me he would cover the rental vehicle from Enterprise car rental in Portland Oregon. I rented a comparable minivan from the place of business. The service person's name was Todd B. who gave this car rental place the purchase order number 13495 (the same PO# that was given for the car rented on March 17, 1999) This was dishonest. Enterprise was denied the payment for the second rental resulting in Enterprise charging me for the vehicle rental. <br><br>Now in December of 1999 Enterprise car rental charged the three-day rental to my credit card. I have dealt with Don Reiff and Kevin Detweiler to recover the costs and they both have denied that they cover the rental car costs because the part was not covered by the service contract or warranty. Why did they cover the cost of repair for no charge. <br><br>In my opinion Gresham Chrysler Plymouth Jeep Inc. Has lied and is unfair in the customer service they have given me. <br><br>I have tried relentlessly to recover the car rental costs to no avail so I decided to write this web page to deter other people from doing business with: <br><br>Gresham Chrysler Plymouth Jeep Inc <br>1975 East Powell Blvd. <br>Gresham, OR 97030 <br> <br><br>The purpose of this page is to recover the $90.00 I lost doing business with them.
