My Review of Gunn Dodge:
I am VERY UNHAPPY with my experience to date. I made my vehicle selection Saturday morning and completed the necessary paperwork (application etc...). I was told that I may hear something on that afternoon or Monday. Saturday evening I called because I had not heard from Michael Ramos. He did not have an answer. Again Monday evening I called, and same thing.... no answer (said that they were still working with lenders; said one had wanted a large down payment). Then today Tuesday, having not heard from Michael AGAIN, I called. Still nothing. I am very upset particularly at the LACK OF CUSTOMER ATTENTION from Michael. It is normal common courtesy to stay in touch with a customer. It is apparent to<br>me that since your sales people are salaried rather than commission, they couldn't care less about the customer. I have bought several new vehicles over the years and, with one exception, received financing answer on the same date of my initial visit ( the one other time took one extra day). So far, it has been 4 days with Gunn and no courtesy calls from your staff. I remember hearing of a bad experience with Gunn about 7-8 years ago where one of your customers had a VERY bad experience with Gunn. I decided to take my chances particularly due to your one simple price program, but feel I would have been better off elsewhere.<br><br>I still do not know whether I will get my truck through you because your staff doesn't seem to care. It you REALLY wanted to sell a vehicle, you'd get the deal done. I don't understand the hold-up and do not the treatment....or lack of, from your sales staff.<br><br>UPDATE: <br><br>Just thought I pass it on that I chose to purchase my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab Lonestar Edition from Red McCombs Dodge. After waiting on you all for 5 days and no telephone updates, I spoke to someone at your dealership on Thursday to which I was told that I had been conditionally approved for something around $27,000 but would need to come up with $8,000 down. I explained to this person that I needed a deal with no money down, and explained the complete lack of customer attention you all gave me......he did not offer ANY apology.<br><br>I went to Red McCombs that Thursday evening, picked out my truck, filled out the paperwork and drove off with my new truck that evening. The deal turned out to be over $2,000 LESS than your best deal (so much for one-simple-price), and ZERO down with a much lower payment than you had offered.<br><br>Needless to say I will not do business with Gunn in the future, and will<br>share my experience with all that I come in contact with. You lost a good sale, and a potential future customer all for a COMPLETE LACK OF CUSTOMER ATTENTION.<br><br>Thank you for making the deal come out better at your competitor.<br><br>
