Just browsing online and found a popular post slamming you on a general Mazda Forum for putting in the wrong engine oil TWICE. Quite a reputation to have someone that motivated to post all that stuff on t you on a general Mazda Forum for putting in the wrong engine oil TWICE. Quite a reputation to have someone that motivated to post all that stuff on there, don't you? https://www.reddit.com/r/mazda/comments/1329ow8/gunther_mazda_fort_lauderdale/ 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐳𝐝𝐚 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧. Every year for my 2.7 year old under 36k Mazda, I have a $500+ problem. More importantly, I have to deal with their sleazeball dealerships from FL to PA all acting the same, claiming nothing at all can be covered under warranty for their 𝗨𝗡𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘 cars that constantly break. This year I had (or at least someone noticed this year) a bolt that the head broke off on the bottom of the car for the steering component. It's unsafe to drive with "a wheel that could come off at any moment!" and will cost $1800 to fix. Why is it not covered under the bumper to bumper warranty, according to the dealer? Because it happened due to "rust." The thing is, all bolts around there/same components aren't "rusted" at ALL. Far more likely that the reason was the bolt was defective or was over or under-torqued, causing it to snap off THEN rusting. In fact, I've been driving that car with a "clanking" noise indicating this problem for as long as I can remember. So the bolt snapped off due to a manufacturing defect (like the slew of other problems I've had with this Mazda) then the under areas obviously aren't covered with rust protection coating, showing the rust you see. Mazda's reward for me is making up a lame excuse (that developed because it's been so long) to not cover their garbage, unreliable car UNDER THE NEW CAR WARRANTY PERIOD. How ***ked up is that? What's covered? Nothing I've had a problem with. I guess only stuff that won't kill you is covered, they expect you to die and not make a claim if one of those things fail. Even if it weren't true, EVEN though there's more evidence to my side, you can't PROVE it either way, even if there were some rust I've seen far worse rusted bolts not break like that within 3 years of a vehicle's life. xx! Instead of benefiting the customer, they choose to side with themselves. They are a bunch of scamming sleazeballs. Every dealership I've dealt with from PA is the same. Mazda dealer in PA salesman acted like a hockey-jockey dude and the Hyundai guy was so nice. My younger self was just concerned with how PRETTY they were :). Oh I wish I bought a Hyundai. Think twice about purchasing a Mazda. Here's a photo of this madness under the car. Unbelievable: https://prnt.sc/akYPF8Tm-xrP More
This is my second visit with Gunther Mazda, and last time was a great experience. But this time I was working with a new (inexperienced?) service advisor. He recommended doing a maintenance on the throttl was a great experience. But this time I was working with a new (inexperienced?) service advisor. He recommended doing a maintenance on the throttle body, without even verifying if the engine is showing signs of carbon buildup on a 2021 vehicle that only had 15,000 miles and it wasn't showing any signs of issues. Mazda recommends this to be done every 75 to 90,000 miles! Yes, I agreed to have it done but that was conditional on it needing to be done. The service advisor didn't keep me updated on the progress of the vehicle, I had to ask him the status a number of times. There wasn't any video verification or any sort of communication to me that the work actually needed to be done. Obviously I'm not a happy camper for being sold something in my vehicle doesn't need. Gunther Mazda, if you actually read these... please have your customer retention manager or General Manager reach out. More

Worst experience I have ever had buying a car. I was pressured to buy a vehicle from Mazda. I got a car I did not like. I went back to see if I could trade the car for another model. The sales guy I was pressured to buy a vehicle from Mazda. I got a car I did not like. I went back to see if I could trade the car for another model. The sales guy Leighton rolled his eyes at me and blew his breath. His manager Mike came out and said I have an attitude because I would not smile at him. 1st Mike says, oh I will call the owner of the dealership and see what I can do, then he comes back to me with figures written down on a paper. Mike told me I would have to make a down payment if I wanted another model. I told Mike they never asked me for a down payment, so I was not sure why he would ask me for a down payment. Mike became upset. Raised his voice at me and began to walk away. So I raised my voice as well, I told Mike, I was sitting here speaking with you and being nice. Now you are raising your voice at me. Mike says oh, I will see if we paid off you car, if we did there is nothing we can do. The car was not paid off. He lied and said it was. Mike huffed and puffed at me continued to raise his voice and said oh there is nothing I can do for you. Mile is a liar. Leighton is a liar. They begged and pressured me to get a car I do not want. I just wanted my car back and the transaction reversed. My mom has sent the dealership alot of leads. And Mike had the nerve to raise his voice and speak down to me. I will never buy another car from this dealership. Stay away from this place that are scammers who want people to give huge down payments. If you don’t they treat you like crap. And they love to be rude and yell at women. More
Once again I am a satisfied Gunther Mazda service customer after visiting their center this week. After being told that no appointments were available until next Monday I requested that the manager p customer after visiting their center this week. After being told that no appointments were available until next Monday I requested that the manager please call me as I have a road trip scheduled to NY Monday. Anna was very accommodating by getting me in early the next morning. Anthony listened to any concerns and offered me a better service price than my emailed coupons. I appreciate the live inspection video they send. He is always professional, knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond as my service representative. More

I have never been more disappointed in an organization. I purchased a 2021 Mazda CX5 turbo in 2021. I brought it in for my first oil change with Gunther Mazda to take advantage of the complimentary oil cha I purchased a 2021 Mazda CX5 turbo in 2021. I brought it in for my first oil change with Gunther Mazda to take advantage of the complimentary oil changes. They put in the wrong engine oil. I was extremely upset as it was a new car and you would expect better service coming from a Mazda dealership. They made it right and picked up my car with a tow truck and they changed the oil. I came in for my second complimentary oil change and tire rotation and was helped by Teri GR (Assistant Service manager) . At this time I politely told her that if they could be sure to put in the correct oil as they made a mistake the first time. I was not even acknowledged thinking she did not hear me so I stated it again only to be told “ I heard you the first time”. I was upset but held my tongue thinking maybe she had a bad day. After 2 hours and 50 mins my car was finished and I was pleased that Teri told me for the long wait they waived the tire rotation. However, it was not until I picked up my paper work that yet again they put in the wrong engine oil. At this point I was clearly upset and yes I raised my voice. Mazda CX5 turbos use SAE-5W30 it clearly states it on the oil cap. After trying to prevent a mistake like this and waiting almost 3 hours I was extremely upset. They tried to tell me that the computer prints OW20 oil on all customers invoices. However, that sounds like the BIGGEST LOAD OF BS. What dealership would not be documenting the correct oil used for customers cars. Mike Y the service manager also tried to back peddle and blame the computer. However, if this was the case they would have warned me from the beginning knowing the mistake they made the first time, especially since I brought it to their attention of Teri before the second service was started. To make matters worse I marked my tires to be sure they did the tire rotation. They rotated them by just putting the front on the back and the back on the front. However they did not complete the recommended Mazda manual tire cross rotation which is required for AWD vehicles. I will NEVER do business with you again. I love my Mazda but will be sure to share my story of your service department's negligence. It is sad that a person can not even get a simple tire rotation and oil change. For the safety of all customers I encourage everyone to get service elsewhere. If Gunther Mazda can not get the simple stuff right God only knows the mistakes they are making on the big stuff. More
I was told by the service manager and advisor that they did not care and would not repair the defect on my new SUV and that I should take it where I bought it.
