My Review of Gurnee Volkswagen:
This service department is the absolute worst.
They have done the 'service' on my car - and it has been a nightmare.
They replaced the clutch - only for it to malfunction - completely - 2 days later. It was a defective clutch.
They replaced a part that was a VW recall and completely messed up my electrical system. If in cruise control - the cruise control will not shut off and the car starts to accelerate by itself and the brakes don't work.
They took the door apart because some of the wiring was in there - and ever since there has been a rattle - and now I cannot get the window (power) to go back up.
The antilock brake light would not go out - I was told that the 'indicator' was 'touchy' in warmer weather. It is fall now - 65 degrees outside - it is still on. BUT - there was one time that the light went out - great I thought - until I tried to stop and the brakes didn't work.
I cannot get any satisfaction from the service manager and I'm having a very hard time getting in touch with the senior managers from Bob Rohrman corporate.
