My Review of Huntington Honda:
Games, games, and more games is what this dealership is about. Go in with your best prices/lease worksheets in hand and don't budge. One technique the sales guy has for keeping you in the dealership is to pretend to advocate for you in presenting your offer to his manager for approval. He asks for your credit card so as to demonstrate your seriousness. The intent is not to run any charges on it, but to hold you at the dealership to avoid you getting fed up with the haggling and walking out in disgust. This gives them ample time to have the manager go to work on you.

If you're interested in leasing, they will typically offer you a lease through a bank before using Honda America, under the guise that the bank lease is lower. Possibly true, but the wear/tear policies on the bank lease are pretty rigid, and there is a hefty disposition fee at the end of the lease. They don't offer Honda unless you ask for it, and then at a higher price.

Overall, a very unscrupulous dealer - don't sign ANYTHING the same day as your visit unless it is extremely clear that you are getting a good deal.

huntington honda is great. i had a very good experience both times i was there the first time i dealt with alex . he helped me to understand why the check engine light was coming on in my honda accord, i had to wait around but he got me out in alittle over an hour . he said that he had the part in stock that i needed and it was fixed right the first time, and it was not very expensive. The last time i was in, today i worked with greg for and "express" oil change . he got me in and out in 35 minutes and he even gave me a discount. Huntington honda is one of the best dealers in the area and the only place i will continue to have my car worked on.

My Review of Huntington Honda:
I was in a market for 2008 honda accord. After getting couple of quotes from different dealers. I took the lowest quote to Huntington Honda, asked them to match or beat the deal. Although they could't match or beat the deal it was still in the reasonable range for me. And the lowest quote was from Paragon Honda (stay away!) i just decided to take the deal and buy it from them. Everything from that point on was super smooth. No pushy sales pitch, all paper work was done within 30 minutes. Although the financial advsior tried to sell me extra security system and an extended warranty, i simply said no and that was it. I was in and out of the dealership in about an hour. Took the delivery next monday. Got a phone call ensuring my satisfaction. I haven't got a chance to go in for a service yet but i'm pretty sure they'll live up to my expectation.

My Review of Huntington Honda:
Bought a CRV 2003 and bought audio extras. Dealer took 11 hours to install them six of which I was kept wainting from 3PM to 9PM. During Finance negotiation, I asked Eric Sheriff (big crook in Finance) to mark paperwork that the price included installation of six premium speakers. They were NOT installed and Mike Fiere tried to give me a little box with three aerosol cans of Honda cleaning supplies. Difficult negotiations to get them to attache roof rack, running boards and a little thing on the back.

I traded in the CRV (bad gas mileage) for an Accord. Finance guy - again Eric Sheriff added $500 to car sale price without telling me cause I did not buy any extras. New Accord had a scratched window and NO manual or XM radio documentation so they threw in a trunk tray.

Went to the dealer for a rear window replacement because car was 10 months old and I wanted a genuine HONDA window. When the repair was finished, there was a horrible leak, staining the entire rear of the car and they did not put in a HONDA window. I had to complain like the wicked witch of the west to get the HONDA window and was only able to do this because the first window was so badly installed. The dealer was given my car insurance company and policy information and I called first so knew they would be paid. Due to some screw up by a guy named Jerome, the rear shop manager. they neglected to get themselves paid for the glass. My insurance company estimated the damage to $1,900. Huntington Honda replaced the inside panels that were stained but didn't fix the cuts on the leather set that the installer created.

The service department failed to give my vehicle a 4 wheel alignment when the DMV requested this service. A DMV complaint was necessary to try to resolve some lingering mechanical issues after I went to the Huntington Honda preferred body repair shop V&J Auto Body in Lindenhurst, NY. Stay away from V&J as they were paid to replace a number of important mechanical parts Radiator, Alternator, condenser, hood liner and numerous other things they didn't do. John Cacciatore (like the chicken tomato sauce dish) is impossible liar willing to say anything to get the sales.

If you can, stay away from Huntington Honda and also Babylon Honda. I have also bught from Smithtown Honda and from South Shore Honda. But I would be most grateful for a mail order Honda purchase cutting out the dealer completely since all they do is waste my time to molest my finances.

I am ready and willing to participate in a news program or other testimony in aid of others with any need for information.

My Review of Huntington Honda:
Carqueen should be located and arrested for trying counter truthful negative experience with fabricated positive lies to help out her master the Honda dealerships. I find it hard to believe that you the same rosy experience with both Huntington and Hillside Honda. Because honestly i can concur with the average negative rating on both Hillside and Huntington, I currently in the process of playing of them against each other, I'm a sales rep i know how take what they give and reverse it on them, but both dealership have lied and tried to flat rape me, but that AINT happening. So my rating for these either dealership number "get your sh_t together and stop lying and deceiving and you make the sale".

I recommend go to the dealer and seeing for you self before i tell you not to go. But go in knowing that they are out to get, rob and rape you out as much money as possible and your job is to get, rob and rape them for a killer deal. I why not they'll sell more.

so in closing some one hunt down and capture carqueen and behead her for promoting hers and her counter parts interest just to present another side of the story so her bosses can save face.

Remember hunt her down people like are diseases. If the true hurt fix it dont fabricate it.

Sorry for ranting, but I'm honest.

My Review of Huntington Honda:
I have bought two cars in three model years at Huntington Honda, both financed with the same Eric Sherriff. Buyers must play a careful game of cat and mouse or they will get ripped off. My first purchase was a 2003 CRV which had a finance package that included charges for the premium speakers all around. Except that those speakers were included in the purchase price. Ahem, yes, they charged me for stuff included and previously installed from the factory.

Then I traded in the 2003 CRV due to bad gas mileage; and bought a 2004 Accord 4Dr Ex sedan. Pickup of the car was delayed due to death of my fatherby ten days, and then it was not ready the day I arrived. Scratches on vehicle, no manual in glove box, to name a few problems. Stuck with loaner for a week waiting for corrections during which time they disconnected but failed to re-connect the XM radio trail period. When taken in for servicing a few months later I explained they had disconnected the XM radio, and XM could not turn on the trial period. Next thing I know, the XM people are sending me bills for all the time I had NO service due to their service department errors.

A repair to rear tail light on Accord resulted in the body shop they sent it out to screwing up the paint so 75% car needed repainting. Now they cannot tall me why the car needs an alignment every month.

Overall, all the service and sales employees act like BORG entities plugged in to a main brain designed to charm but cheat the customer out of money. True they have access to alot of inventory but if you look up LIA auto sales a HONDA parent company, maybe you can find another dealer without the organizational and integrity problems in Huntington Honda. People to avoid are Michael Fiere, Eric Sherriff, Jerome in Sales, Bob Carpenter in Sales, and especially Tony Luciano who will remind you he worked for NASA ages ago, and then digress into some tangental fact about the car that does not address your SAFETY or WARRANTY concerns.

I went in there to buy a CRV and I was attacked with bullying tactics to get me to buy accessories that I did not need or want. The price was nothing to rave about, the salesman was incredibly rude and dishonest about almost everything and the Finance salesman verbally attacked my father. I will never go back to them again and I strongly urge others to think twice before buying from them.

My Review of Huntington Honda:
I went to buy a new Honda Oddessey and included some accessories from Huntinton Honda, in huntington NY . I did not order any after market part, but that is what I got. I never told them to put an after market part on a brand new vehicle I bought from them. I had to open a case with manufacturer (Honda), put a stop payment on my credit card from which I had made payment of about 2grants,open up a case with FTC, open up a case with BBB. Only then did they replace the after market part with Geniune Honda part. In other terms in my opinion this is a clear case of deceptive trade practice. Breach of contract. It was the delearship's responsibility to inform if they were to instal after market part. The cheap part were installed without informing me and without my consent.
So please be aware if you are going to Huntington Honda at Jerico Tpke, huntington, ny. They are not a good dealer to deal with. You may be better off going to other dealers in the area. Please pass on the message to friends around. if you want to contact me please email me at minkey123@yahoo.com

No wonder thes guys are consistently # one in new Honda sales in the country! I saved them for last. Every other dealer on L.I. said it was too late to order a V6 Accord Coupe LX w/NAVI (2nd week of April) & that I'd have to settle for what they could locate.

They asked me what price I wanted to pay for the car to order one, (I also wanted a spoiler & the iPod Music Link) I told them, they signed, & told me up to 10 weeks.. The had one at the factory & shipped it. I had it in 3 weeks.

Great experience. Great Car. Great deal!

My Review of Huntington Honda:
For some reason, everytime I take my Civic to be serviced at Huntington Honda, I leave with more problems than I arrived with. Three months ago I took the car in for a battery replacement, and my transmission randomly "failed" when it was in their care. So I get a new transmission (thanks to MY warranty...not like the dealer accepted blame for breaking my car while it was in their care) and then all of a sudden I'm hearing funny noises in the front end. I take the car in for service again, and learn that there is suddenly $800 worth of damage done to my front end from hitting a pothole??? I left immediately and I will never go back. I did not have problems with my civic until I took it here for what was supposed to be "routine service."
