My Review of Hall Nissan Chesepeake:
I had a great experience at Hall Nissan Chesapeake. My experience may not be the same as others, because I totally bypassed any haggling by using USAA's Car Buying Service, and locking in my price before I even went to the dealership.
That being said, I am happy to share my experience here. I owned a 2000 Pontiac Firebird with low mileage but a few problems, and I was ready to get rid of it and trade it for something new. The something new I wanted was Cube -- I had had my eye on them since I first saw a commercial back in May or so.
As I mentioned above, I went on USAA's website and built the car I was interested in, locked in the price I wanted, and submitted. Within minutes, a Hall representative named Guadalupe (she didn't actually work for Hall Nissan Chesapeake, but for Hall as a whole, I think) called and scheduled an appointment for me to meet Kyle Snowden, the internet manager, that evening.
My husband and I arrived on time and quickly met with Kyle Snowden, who was extremely polite, professional, and personable. He was truly a joy to work with. He took us outside, explained all of the features of the Cube SL, and I took a test drive. I was immediately in love with the car.
It was a bit different than the model I had originally built on USAA's website, but he let me get on his computer, get back on USAA's site, rebuild the car to the new specs, and honored THAT price, even though it was lower than the originally agreed upon one! Now, that is AWESOME customer service!
Sharon Culver then met with us to go over all of the Cube SL's features in greater detail, and she was also extremely friendly and professional. I enjoyed working with both of them.
By the time we purchased the vehicle, the lead technician had already gone home, and the tire pressure monitor on the dashboard wouldn't go off. Kyle assured us there was nothing wrong with the vehicle, but that the monitor needed to be reset, and only the lead tech would do it. He told me to bring the Cube back next time I was off, and they'd quickly reset it for me.
I did come back a few days later, and I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Jay Bussey was my service tech. We also saw Kyle again, who quickly remembered and greeted us, asked how we liked the vehicle, etc.
Overall, it was a great experience. I will definitely be bringing the Cube back here for service and maintenance, and if I'm still living in this area when I'm done with it, I'll trade the Cube back into them for sure.
