My Review of Hartzheim Dodge:
I have bought several cars from Hartzheim Dodge on Capitol and I disagree with all the bad comments that have been listed except for having great prices. This dealership has always gone above and beyond to help me and my family out. They are the only 5-star Dodge Dealership in san jose and have always proved it to me. Not only has sales been great but the service department has been straight forward and honest. John Shami has become a friend of the family after dealing with so many people we know. Give them a try.

My Review of Hartzheim Dodge:
Was called by finance saying that I was pre-aprroved. Went there to purchase a vehicle and found the one we wanted. Signed all the paperwork including vehicle insurance. 8 days later recieved a letter saying that they could not get financing for us once they ran my credit 20 times. We returned the vehicle and were very unhappy with the service. Pre-approval to me means financing has already been approved. I feel I was lied to, just to get me to the car lot. Will never do business with this car lot again and would not recommend it to anyone I know.

A very bad place to do business! If you want to experience all the classic car dealer games, i.e.,sales people reeking of cheap cologne, bait and switch tactics, intimidation while signing and fake warranty service, etc.; give them a visit. It's a shame, because for the price the 2006 Dodge Caravan was a bargain ($13,995 (7/06 - 16k miles now) for the basic 4 cyl., or $11,995 if I had waited 6 more months) and my only problems have been an AC refrigerant leak and an intermittent squeak when the front brakes aren't applied caused by the brake pads rubbing on the rotors. Small problems really for a 5* dealership..

My Review of Hartzheim Dodge:
Hartzheim Dodge really took advantage of me many, many times. They wanted to charge me for servicings I had already paid for and for work that didn't need to be done. Even other Dodge dealers said that they didn't understand why I was being treated the way I was. Another Dodge dealer did the same work for me under warranty that Hartzheim said I had to pay for!!

Absolutely terrible service. I ended up buying a truck ($50K) from another dealer because the service at Hartzheim was so absurd.

My Review of Hartzheim Dodge:
They messed up on my whole deal and weren't willing to go down on the price as much as they should have....they made a 3000 dollar mistake....they said that i gave them 3000 dollars cash when i didn't..i took the vehicle back and when i did they would only give me 500 dollars off the price of the car for the mistake they made....then they finally came back and were willing to give me 3000 dollars off the price i signed for i told them to void the contract and they did.....

My Review of Hartzheim Dodge:
I brought my truck in because of a slite problem in the &quot;swing arm&quot;. They gave me an estimate to fix it for $2,500.00, I was floored. I deceded to get a second opinion but on the way there i noticed my tire was about to come off as I made a turn while the lug nuts flew off. Luckily there were a couple of lugs barely on. I tightened the two that were still there and drove it back to the dealer. They were in disbielef. So was I, but they decided real quick to check my truck out again and only make a small repair and only charge me $200.00 bucks.
