My Review Of Hassel BMW:
Stay away. This dealership meets all the bad stereotypes of car salesmen and carried out a classic bait and switch.
When I met with the salesman to lease a 5 series x drive, I told him that one of the features that I wanted was the blind spot monitor. The demo car they had did not include this feature and so the salesman took me in his car to show how the blind spot monitor feature worked. I thought that was impressive, but it later turned out to be part of the setup. When we sat down to order the car, the salesman told me that the blind spot monitor, rear view camera (another feature I told him I wanted) and heads up display (a feature I did not care about) were included in the driver assist package. We agreed on a price and I ordered the car. The order sheet stated that my car included the driver assist package. When the car was delivered, it did not include the blind spot monitors. When I complained, the salesman said that he delivered exactly what I ordered and that the blind spot monitors were only included in the driver assist plus package. I reminded him that we test drove his car specifically because it had the blind spot monitor feature and he said that we did, but that I then decided not to order it. That was an outright lie.
In the face of my complaints, I got standard salesperson gibberish. He said I should not complain because they gave me a great car at a great price. He then said that his general manager would call me the next day to resolve the problem. It is now three weeks later and I have not heard from anybody. The salesmen said there is nothing he can do because, according to the documents, I ordered the driver assist package, not the driver assist plus, and this is what they delivered.
Hassel BMW engaged in a classic bait and switch. Do not trust anything that they say.
