My Review of Hassel BMW:
Service Engine Soon light came on in my X5. Called for service and when I left it I was told it would cost $115 just to diagnose the problem. They called me later in the day and rattled off a bunch of things the car needed, none of which I had ever heard about, ranging from poor oxygen levels to poor gas mileage, etc. The price for these repairs were in excess of $350. I said forget it!
Picked the car up, got home, checked oil level which was very low (not sure why since car had been in in December). Added two and 1/2 quarts of oil and engin light has not come on since - that was three weeks ago!
I feel completely cheated and will not use them again.

My Review of Hassel BMW:
I brought my car in for a simple brake light problem. Hassel BMW discovered a list of problems with my car (ironically my warranty just expired). After leaving it there for 3 days, I went to pick it up, I was charged more than $3,300.00 including more than $2,100.00 in labor cost. Can you believe it!
I suggest you get your car serviced elsewhere. I know I will from now on.
Billy

My Review of Hassel BMW:
These guys are rude and obnoxious. My car is a lemon. Once it was out of warranty, they didnt care about the customer at all. German engineering is disaster now. Socialist countries do not build good cars. The reason you cant get a service appointement with BMW dealers like Hassel is there are so many of these BMW cars with problems. DONT BUY A BMW CAR. THEY DONT WORK. HASSEL WILL LIE THROUGH THEIR TEETH. STAY AWAY FROM HASSEL AND BMW.

My Review of Hassel BMW:
In general I've had very good sales and routine service experiences at Hassel, but one of my cars was a lemon which forced me to deal with Chandler, who manages the dealership. He went from giving me the runaround for a month, then lying outright and then being nasty and dismissive. Just short of initiating legal action, I finally managed to hammer out a buy-back deal with him on my lemon.

One other note of irritation: I was at the dealership buying a new 5 series with a trade-in. Just then the dealership owner's son (Mr. del'aquilla) walked by and said out loud on the showroom floor: "oh, someone is trading in a piece of crap death trap". A real class act. I think Hassel is now owned by a public company.

My Review of Hassel BMW:
I was scamed. A salesmen sold me an extended maintanance warrenty by giving me false information on how my car would be serviced. When I brought my car in to be serviced I was given the less expensive service and was told I could not get what I was promised. DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRENTY!!!!

My Review of Hassel BMW:
hey ginovino read this...How's the rattle in the truck fixed? ----
Super friendly sales dept you do receive a great deal...but that's where customer service ends.... do not bring your brand new car in for service you'll be sorry the service techs do not care about your new car. The service manager cares, knows exactly what to say, but cannot control the techs. Hassel upper management does not care after the sale is complete. The service dept will change what ever part is necessary even perfectly good parts are removed or replaced...they will damage your property scratches, gouges you name it, so when you finally get your brand new car back you can rest assure to find new problems with your car. You see they get paid from BMW NA for all labor courtesy of your new car warranty...so be weary when you drop your car off for the “free oil change” and they call you up and explain to you that your brand new car needs a new rack-and-pinion steering unit because the service tech says yours is “sweating” and needs replacement.
My Review of Hassel BMW:
George is was probably really patiant with me .. My 2004 330ci came in early and i just got back from vacation and didn't have time to put my cash ready for him .. it took me a week and a half to get it done but Gearge was really patient and understanding .. But not only that the day i was going to pick it up .. it snowed like crazy and he told me that he wouldn't recommend me to pick up the car in that weather .. Now that tells me alot about a Sales guy that really cares more about the customers needs then him trying to get rid of you and on to the next customer .. George also provided the best price .. i can't belive how low he went compared to everyone else in NYC .. holy cow did this guy really work his magic. This guy is the real deal .. I highly recommend buying from him or his partner Danny .. Top notch service also .. He even hooked me up with a lower APR rate compared to my personal finance; now i had bad credit but this guy really gave me a great deal and on top of that the best rate ever .. It was like a gift from heaven .. Thanks George .. A+++++
