My Review of Hassel Volvo:
I picked up my 2010 Volvo s40 today from Hassel Volvo. I must say unequivocally that this was by far the best car buying dealer experience I have had in my life. I am 65y/o and have purchased many cars. From the initial sales contact (Peter Giordano), through the sales process with (Peter and Ron), to final delivery. I am both amazed and thankful of how straight forward, forthright and pleasant it was to deal with Hassel Volvo and Peter. No detail was left undone.

If you are in the market for a Volvo, call Peter at 516 671-1700. I promise you, you will not be disappointed! He is a true professional.

My Review of Hassel Volvo:
I found a 2009 S80 on AutoTrader.com for sale by Hassel Volvo. After trying to deal with Hassel's internet department with no luck, I asked to speak with a manager. At that point I spoke with Ron Herring and he gave me a GREAT deal. Ron then passed me over to Anthony Mastroianni. Anthony took care of me like we were old friends. My wife and I traveled from Philadelphia by train to Glen Cove to pick up this car. The car was perfect and we saved 4K dollars, yes our local dealers didn't even come close to Hassel's price. Thank you Anthony Mastroianni and Ron Herring, we love our Volvo!

My Review of Hassel Volvo:
Overall I found this purchasing experience to be excellent - from the time I entered the dealership to the time that I drove off the property with my new used car I was treated in a friendly, straightforward, courteous manner. Anthony was friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. He answered questions directly and responded to my expressed needs. I believe that I was able to negotiate a fair price without pressure or gimmicks. In addition, Aja worked diligently on my behalf to obtain excellent financing and worked with Anthony to make all of the paperwork go smoothly and efficiently. On the day I arrived to pick up my car it was beautifully detailed and prepared for me to drive off the lot. If you didn't look at the odometer, there is no way that you wouldn't think is was a brand new car. Prior to this experience, I would have told anyone that purchasing a car is one of my least favorite things to do - Anthony and Hassel have effectively changed that feeling - this was an excellent experience.

I never knew parting with a lot of money for a car (number 36!) could be such an enjoyable experience. Mr. Callender was great. He thought of everything and anticipated any problems or questions I might have had. I travelled a fair distance to find the vehicle I wanted (68 miles), and I'm glad I did. The dealership and Mr. Callender deserve a "thumbs up".

Buying a car can be a very stressful experience but with Hassel Volvo and Anthony Mastroianni it is breeze. Everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable and seemed genuinely interested in helping me. Anthony did everything he could to make this process go as smoothly as possible and he succeeded. Anthony was very friendly and made us feel right at home. Hassel Volvo is the way to go... be sure to ask for Anthony Mastroianni.

Anthony and Aja provided quick and friendly service. Aja was able to process my information very quicky and never got fustrated or rushed me off the phone. They were both very patient with me, this was my first time buying a car. Anthony showed me different cars and quickly zeroed in on the right style, color, and price. This dealership is the best one I have dealt with in my 30 years of buying cars. Anthony is a very good guy to work with. He is patient, understanding, friendly, knowledgeable and a gentleman. He spent five hours with me over two days showing me cars. He did not try to sell me any one in particular, the car sold itself. I would recommend the people at Hassel Volvo of Glen Cove to any one interested in a Volvo. Not only he was absolutely excellent but the entire staff there were great also. My car was ready for pick up when I needed it that day and better than I expected. Anthony was there for me from the minute I walked in the door till the last second I drove off the lot. Over all it was a pleasure to do business with the folks at Hassel. In the future I will only go to Hassel for my next car.The pleasure was all mine, thank you all.

Anthony and everyone else at this dealership is so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I have not always been a fan of car salesman but they changed my outlook. No pressure and prices were the best in my area. I recently brought in the car for a scheduled service and had the same pleasant experience with Bob in the Service department. They also have very convenience service hours. Great experience!

i was shopping for a volvo s40 2010. i didn't want to drive all over the place so i went to a local volvo dealer and got an idea of what i wanted and how much i could spend. the rest i tried to compare on the internet. well peter giordano spent time and valuable information and negotiating on the internet. it didn't necessitate me traveling across long island until i was ready to make the deal. he is outstanding and a gentleman. bravo Hassell Volvo.
