My Review Of Healey Brothers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram:
I can honestly say that purchasing my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from this dealership was my best car buying experience ever. I don't say that lightly.
On a Thursday late evening, I emailed the dealership with my desired price and desired trade-in amount. I was very aggressive, setting my price based on internet research, as well as visiting other dealerships about 30 miles away. Within an hour of opening the next morning, I had an email from Rich accepting my offers.
Frankly, I was suspicious that a game was being played. I was very wrong.
The salesperson (with something like 18 years experience at this dealership!), Rich, was responsive, polite and committed to making the deal work no matter what it took to make me happy. And, I was one tough customer - skeptical and untrusting. (I'm an attorney.) Rich suggested that I email photos of any trouble areas on my trade-in to ensure that there would be no surprises when I made the 40 minute drive to the dealership in order to close the deal. I did so. Soon thereafter, I had a scanned copy of a bill of sale confirming all of the agreed upon terms. The only discrepancy was a $24 issue. When I pointed it out, they apologized and quickly deducted the $24 without a fuss.
Upon arrival, the entire process was professional and smooth. Rich offered me the usual Glass Coat finish spiel, but he did so without pressuring. When I turned him down, he accepted my decision without any pushback.
Then, I went into the business office to do the paperwork. Everything was explained to me honestly and succinctly. I had negotiated a particular interest rate (a promo rate offered by Jeep). So long as the deal was written at that rate, I was happy. Yet, without my asking, Tom had already secured a rate .25% LOWER. That would have been enough to have me leave with a smile, but then he surprised me even further. Tom gently offered an extended warranty option (which I expected would be offered). I was already planning to add the EW due to all of the technology in the new Jeep GCO, but I was going to do so at an internet store I discovered. Again, I had done my research and told him that I doubted he could meet my price for the EW. Not only did he beat my researched price for the same manufacturer extended warranty I diligently priced online, but when I hesitated momentarily, he offered to drop my interest rate another .5% -- which virtually took care of the entire warranty price. Outstanding! I had the car and warranty for LESS than I was prepared to spend. When does that ever happen?!
The entire time, my children were whining to get going. Rich and Tom always addressed them with a smile, offering popcorn and TV to keep them entertained. When time started to get tight for us, Tom was literally jogging around the dealership to get copies done and make sure we had all that we needed to get on our way.
I was addressed with "sir" repeatedly. I heard "please" and "thank you" about 100 times. Even the other staff around the dealership were quick to ask if we needed anything while we waited. What a class act they run here.
I am a sophisticated car shopper. Said another way: I am a pain in the rear for dealerships! These guys FAR exceeded my expectations in every respect. I look forward to sending anyone I can to buy from Healy Brothers.
