Reason for Visit: Sales
I recommend this dealer: No
My Review of Healey Brothers Hyundai:
Just plain awful. I bought a 2004 Accent from this dealership, and they ripped me off. I purchased the car without air conditioning, because the salesman assured me that I could have it installed later, if I wanted, for $900. (And also that it would be no problem to do this, since all the AC is put in at the dealership -- apparently, a lie.) This sounded fair, and I bought the car. But when I called back a few months later, they wanted $1,500 for the AC! I complained to the salesman, and he "twisted some arms" to get the price down to $1,150, and then didn't understand why I couldn't appreciate the huge favor he had done for me -- after he had lied not only straight to my face, but to my mother, too, about the cost. Talk about chutzpah! Hyundai customer sevice was no help at all -- one customer rep was particularly obnoxious, and said the most stupid things (for example: "Well, I don't understand why this experience would not make you want to buy another Hyundai.") Avoid this dealership at all costs, and Hyundai, too. Sad state of affairs, because the car itself is not bad, especially for the price -- but I will keep away from Hyundai in the future, since their salespeople lie and cheat, and Hyundai corporate turns a blind eye. And it's already cost them -- my parents were ready to buy a new Sonata from these guys, and now know enough to avoid them like the plague. Nice move, Healey, and Hyundai -- you ripped me off to the tune of 250 bucks, and blew a $17,000 sale. And probably the sales of many more cars to me, over the next five decades or so. Boneheads.
