My Review of Hedrick's Hallowell Chevrolet:
Aside from them trying to overcharge us in the Service Dept...We went to pick up our truck from Service. I was parked in a parking spot with my 6-week old daughter. After waiting quite awhile, they brought our truck around. I proceeded to back out of the spot when one of their porters (or whatever you call the guy that brings the cars around) whipped around the left corner and behind my car to park in the spot to the right of me. I was more shocked than anything to see that an employee would drive a customer's car so carelessly. I started to back up again and another employee, a service advisor, sped up from the opposite direction. Frustrated, I yelled out of my window, "Don't mind me, I wasn't backing up or anything!" and the service advisor stopped the car. He then moved forward and parked the car directly behind me so that I could not back up. We are customers too and I find that extremely rude! I am afraid to see how the employees drive the vehicles when customers are not around if they are willing to drive like maniacs in front of the showroom and in front of customers. I work for a rental car company and I drive much differently on the job because I am not only representing myself but my company as well. The employee's at Hedrick's Hallowell should apply the same courtesy out of respect for the customers and the dealership.
