My Review of Hempstead Mazda:
At first David (sales rep) and Craig (Financial Manager) seemed to be helpful but albeit a little pushy. After looking for other options, another dealership was contacted that gave me the information and VIN on the car that was being ordered to now "All Star Mazda" and it was allocated to them. I tried canceling the order to get my deposit refunded because circumstances came up which would not allow me to purchase the car.
This is where the dancing began. First they blame me for not canceling the order before they "purchased" the car from another dealer. This is B.S. First off, I had the VIN of the car that was allocated to All Star Mazda even before David/Craig contacted me. When I asked about the VIN, they said the VIN was not available. Immediately after that phone conversation I found out the allocation came from their sister dealership , Mazda of Great Neck, who graciously provided me with the VIN of the car that was incoming from the warehouse. I went in to cancel the order but David/Craig was not there, was told to contact them the following day. When I did, I was told I was unable to get a refund because the car was "purchased." I proceeded to visit the dealership, David became very angry and unprofessional to the point that he just stood up, insulted my friend and walked away, telling us to come back another day to speak to the manager.
